  1. thanks guys .... basically i got pinned behind 2 cars in a double lane doing same speed (45 kms) late for work etc etc... God onlyt knows why its 50 kms up this stretch of road as its paddocks one side and one big factory the other... as soon as i had my gap i went back a gear and feed a bit of boost to clear my self away and bam he lit me up like a Christmas tree further down the road ... i still don't believe it as i really didnt think i gave it to it that extreamly... i saw the radar and it stated 95kmph///71.5 metres so i will just have to cop it sweet... ohhh gotta go Gf is lecturing me hard, back later
  2. Ok i have done a stupid thing and got pinched for speeding with an automatic suspension (6 months) Now my question is i only had 6 demerit points left on my license before the incident... After receiving the fine which is an automatic suspension of 6 months and 6 demerit point will this mean i get suspended twice or will the suspension run at the same time ? I know i have made a stupid mistake so no need to go kickiing my butt even more but i have no idea how this is going to go with an auto suspension as well as wiping out my points ... any light on the subject would be really appreciated thanks ish!

    Lol ... you will be fine as mentioned above ... they sound like they weren't traffic police. I have had 2 strange incidents with the police in my late R32gtr ... first week i got it i came out of the bottle shop , cruized up to the lights, took left hand turn and WUUP WUUP unmarked pulled me over where i turned into the side street because no parks on main road etc ... I am thinking ohhh here we go ..the dreaded Skyline bashing etc ....i get out of the car the same time he does and we meet in the middle somewhere... He goes did you just leave the pub mate and i said sorta i just went through the drive through bottle shop > see 4pack of JD. He then goes ohhhhhhh i thought you had just left the pokies no worries . At this point i am like WTF , he doesn't bretho me but takes my license for a chekum. we both go sit in our cars .... I am getting a bit worried now thinking the worst that maybe there is an unpaid , hes radioing to his mates to do RWC checks, dont pop the bonnet , maybe he thinks i am Ivan malat etc ...cause hes taking ages... after 5/10 minutes or longer he gets out of his car and starts heading towards me with a huge grin on his face ??? I sat there going here we go ... He reaches through the window with his hand extended and says beautiful car mate, Shakes my hand and introduces himself first name (this has never happened to me ever)... See ya on the road, bye... I was Gob smacked Later i found out he has an R33 Gtst as his personal ride... strangest interception i think i have ever had the other story i will save for later ... 2 plain clothed D's that couldn't catch up to us until they did the flashing dash board thing ...lol

  9. hey! I have a bit of a hypothetical question for a few cluey engine gurus i am planning a trip to look at a a car (r32gtr) over 3000 kms away. Now after pumping this guy for as much info on the phone as i can this is what i have managed to get out of the convo the car has some sought of vapor coming out of it on down changes which the owner says he has been told the cat is buggered after he took it into get a new cannon put on it and that its whats causing it to blow smoke etc on a down change he tells me that he reset the PFC back to base map because the engine was detonating after the exhaust mod which i would assume the car is running rough/Rich... does a worn out cat (original or 14 year old Approx) make exhaust vapor/Dust on a down change or is there something maybe wrong elsewhere in the engine ? the strange thing is that he only reset the pfc after the exhaust change so i am thinking its not fuel coming out of the exhaust as the exhaust place was the one that told him his cat was buggered and this maybe the cause of the mysterious gas/dust/fuel/oil comong from the exhaust pipe... Could someone help me out on what maybe going on with this... he is fairly sure its not blue smoke but in saying that he dosent understand engines to well either thanks Dj

  11. hey! could someone please help me with a bit of info? i am about to get my car transported on a car carrier and the rules state to get the car on the carrier i need a clearance of 6 inches all round... I am in victoria and the car is interstate with the previous owner. i am thinking of getting him to remove the bottom part section of the front bar that hangs down . is this easily done ? and how is it secured generally? thanks deejay
  12. well octanes under a micro scope look different . the caltex ones have much better athletic bodies and are trained at high altitude. where a mobil octane tends to be more or a muscular octane with short burst power that fades away over distance .... the bp ultimate is a combination of vortex and sugar free redbull hence why the turboed cars tend to go reel well on it until the taurine wears off on hot humid temperatures.
  13. he everyone , its been awhile I am considering buying a nismo spec r32 gtr (no ABS) that has an attesa problem ... all power to the rear etc i will make it quick! First off i went through most of the attesa problem posts and noted the ABS ecu fix SPILICING wires etc for removing abs with a normal ABS attesa ecu but couldn't really find anything that relates to factory No abs atessa problems. 1 question is, is the nismo spec attesa ecu the same as the n1 attesa units or are they another different type altogether I am in the country and fairly cluey when it comes to most problems but would like an out if its beyond me... What i think from studying most of the problems talked about in here is at worst the attesa pump is worn out and need a name of an over hauler so i can replace it if thats what it turns out to be ... Any help would be really appreciated as i would seriously like to buy this car and sought out its bugg's........ i really miss having a r32gtr my closest main city is melbourne 300 kms if i cant work it out... A name of a reputable gtr specialist or good mechanic that can sought it would be a great back up thanks again and look forward to hanging in here regularly again deejay
