d00dz I wouldnt be experimenting to much especialy with straight power ! I know nothing about this but hard wire jumping the car or Ecu cant be good ... get it tested or give it A fresh 12 volts but lighty fused... Get it tested Professionaly so you know You dont want to blow any Warrenties because your frustrated !

Carisum I tell's YA i was going to comment before about the underpowered Car thing in hind sight but held back and sure enuff someone said it above. Its a mix of Speed V Equipment & Weight V Conditions V Concertration. All things that tapper very fast one way or another depending on Ability or a sense of Conciquence.. If you could get a feeling of Conciquence in drivers and especialy Highpowered Car Drivers this might get better... But how???

It shouldnt really slip at all .... Take it Back and get them to Adjust it . if its slipping its wearng and probably faster! I just had installed similar an extreame clutch and the only running in was waiting for it to bed and not be so sharp when grabbing. Its still a biatch in reverse but it has never slipped .....

I want the motec for probably exacly the same reason you do paulr33 its the best !. If you read up earlier, the motec Ecu has come up second hand all enabled hence this Thread to weigh up and gain info. The pfc is more of an option because of the area i live in and the local mechanics knowledge and would save me dragging the project to melbourne .

paulr33 i undertand the features on each unit .. this is an ongoing intrest for me where the car just may end up on the track... I dont like back tracking and multiple modual's in the cabin really! I am building a spare rb26 in the shed with forged pistons and collar upgrade ready to go in when this one fails.... everyone keeps telling me what i want upgrade wise when all i want to know i what will I need extra for my motec M8 ECU. No offense guys , the comments are welcome but no one is answering the question!

I will put this a bit different .... The weekend has made Ringing around hard to get advice So tomorrow a big phone assault... If i have just the Motec m8 Ecu with certain codes added Wide band lambda, Antilag Control Etc ! What extra's as in loom and sensors will be required for the mechanic for the install. i have just been reading horror stories where the motec tuner couldn’t get the awd going because he didn’t understand certain things so this freaks me out even more? I am getting fairly frustrated with the local advice i am getting so now the car will be taken to melb (300km) and am trying to get some background before i go ringing around and asking novice questions to pros please if anyone can list me the parts and steps i will have to go through it would be a real head start so i can organize the workshop. I have been looking through the Workshops in the maintenance section on the site .. If any stick out for this type of work Could someone please recommend thanks ish!

I am in a bit of a delema! mainly it's location, I am about to purchase a PFC brand new but a Motec m8 Ecu has turned with all its codes opened> wideband, Boost control etc . What else would i need to get this installed sensor / Loom wise and runing on my Gtr r32 twincam, To4z?

I am in the middle of my upgrade from standard twins to a Garret To4z. (Rb26) At the moment i am waiting on a few parts like my Exhaust Manifold (6boost) Apexi PFC (greDDy) etc ... As i live in a bit rural setting, every now and then i get a bit stuck with the certain systems i have never attempted. My question is How have some of you adapted the oil and water lines to the single turbo application . Any Pic's or links would be fantastic! I have tried to do a bit of searching about this but keep getting wrong, similar or off track in the threads. Also i have read that the oil line to turbo needs restricting because it can blow oil past the seals... If so how would i go about getting the right restriction.. All else we think we have covered!!! thanks ish!

Re occur! this is what i was worried about ... Prank. i mentioned in your PM my bigger fears of how this may be happening. it will be more than 20,000 to fix it .... I am on the other side of the excitment of the buy now. Fantastic cars ... but you cant get a GP to work on them, you will need a nurosurgeon if your not mechanichly fluent. there is a blown one for 12000 with a few good parts on it ... as everyone wants to customize there performance this would be much better .. a clean slate etc .... Failing that buy a cheap one and start eating cheaper food because when you do something like a rear dump Gasket only!!! I wany see what you say ED to 1200 dollars labor ... just one example and mines a good one
