Thank's Scoop I live on the border of NSW and Vic....The reason i ask is i have had a r32 gtr and in victoria where mine was registered it became a magor head ache roadworthy wise with aftetrmarket pfc , pods, BOVs and coil overs plus i had to chase up a standard intercooler. I am fairly interested in this car but need to know it will pass with its mods when the rego comes to an end ... you have yearly RWC required dont you ?

Sorry mate have been a bit scarce here lately :laughing-smiley-014: The repair was $342 which included removal, new tank, tank sweating off/on, reinstall, Flush, coolant and the Aus wide warranty. I spose it would depend a bit on the franchise owner but i was pleasantly surprised by my local guy.

As the above guys mentioned about compatability. One thing though, you havent said where the leak is coming from .... Tanks Or core ! I split the top plastic header tank in mine (Gtr r32) and Natrad came to the party having the tanks in stock. They sweated it off, replaced it and gave me an australia wide guareentee Much better peice of mind for my Rb than a secondhandie....

Repairer :"Sorry police department we have to order you in those special Xr6 bits and they cost a bit more etc etc ..... Police dept : "pfft just wak it on the account mate ....We will make up the difference out on the road ! "

I am wondering is the problem of pursuit and traffic safety justified with all these top end model cars they are purchasing. Why cant these cops have modern base model cars specificly modified for their needs instead of rubbing it in the working persons face that his tax dollars payed for that while hes fining you. You will be fine for 98 Fuel along that route if you plan your distances ! Its when you go inland It gets messy for fuel and maintenance if something goes wrong. The big bits of Rubber you mention are from truck Re-cap blow outs. The trukie should try to collect most of it after it blows but that can also be dangerous traffic wise depending on where the trye blows. also get roadside assistance in your state RACQ ,NRMA etc ... its to cheap not to have

Some HEAVEY decibel science going on here... Most Over head cam injected 6s can sound similar depending on situation with the turbos dampenig the bang's, same goes for none turbo which usualy sound disgusting large diameter unless thought about... The rexs take a bit to get used to sound wise as the boxer config tends to muffle rpm sounds together 3000 rpm sounds like 1500 etc
