yep sounds like the common old Coil packs cracks. the spark arcs out instead of firing the spark plug ... I would say it it has happend due to the extra boost and heat your generating from removing the restrictor ... Same thing happend to me

Hi gang ... My search feature simply doesnt do anything i want it to "here" so i i thought i would chuck this up as i am really Homesic for my R32 Latley.... I know it has probably been discussed numerous times the Pros and cons of each car but I would luv a few comments on each car. I am curious if any others have gone from a GTR to a WRX and were overwealmingly happy. To me although the rex seems to out handle the goddy because of nimbleness, i am starting to really have second thoughts about this EJ20 putter box. Its dead stock and for all the hype about these cars i can see why the fans luv them etc but i think i may be a victim of HYpe I like it but havent spent enuff time in it to to really make up my mind .... Will i think a bit different if i shove some boost into it? ....Some how i think i may have spoilt my self driving RB's around for the last 15 years. Cheers ... Old Top gear comparison R34 V WRX

not many companys doing it because the ones that are around have the market .... I used Offial carbra and it was delivered in 24 hours for my r32gtr. pretty good product once i learned how to fit it

most of the tinters will do it for you . you just have to ask for the good stuff 20%..... they will warn you about the legalities etc etc... Its never really a problem until RWC time

you must!!! get some legal advice like the rest have mentioned. your in the wrong mosly and will have to pay but i dont think he is allowed to just get the car repaierd by what ever repairer he chooses with out first following some guidelines... this may help you in your fight should you choose to take it on. i remember years ago when this happend to me i had to chase up 3 quotes from different repairers and then discuss which one i wanted to repair my car. If you could create the argument that this has been done for his gain you might have a chance. please keep us updated
