I like the old one (the one we have now) I'm going to miss him, Maybe they shoudl make a section for old banners and the ones ppl made, so that the effort they went to wasn't wasted. Or even make it an option in the profile section to change the banner

Hey chris, Yeah know your in Qld thats why i was thinking if you can chat to him on nissansilvia.com and then if your happy with his workmanship as i am, you could post on this forum for all teh people in NSW looking for a good fitter. I understand you have to go under special training and be quilfited to install quicktrak, he also has that. Thanks chris. Michael

http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=156767 Theres the brilliant installer for NSW. Owned numerous skylines over the years, top job. I appricate the comments FRX but this guy was really good, i havn't herd one bad customers reply, your probably well aware theres numerous shonky ppl out there but i watched as this guy installed my alarm and talked to him and he did a great job. You can't find anthing its all hidden apart from him purpsly taping the turbo timer unit thingy (part of the alarm) to the main lume, making it look like a cheaply installed system but infact is just the turbo timer and won't do a thing if removed You can tell this guy was passionate about what he did, i would seriously reconmend him to any one, and Chris i can see your passionate too wich is good we need more people like the two of you. You shoud pmt his guy on nissan silvia, he's a top bloke and you will soon see from talking to him that his work and PR skills are top knotch so then mabe you can vouch from him onthis forum as a NSW installer. Just a thought! Excellent service, excellent workmanship, excellent alarms, excelent prices! Follow that link thats where you search should start and thats were it should finish! Thats my 2cents worth Michael

Vipers have nothing on this, this guy installs vipers mongoose and reconmends this, he's owned 2 32gtrs and a r33 gtst so he knows his skylines. He recenltly installed one on my car, and it was great because he really knows his way around a skyline and he took his time and did a top job installing. He even took out the back seat to run a wire to the back to disable the fule pump in 2 points, (now taking out the whol back seats dedication to his work) Awsome guy, awsome price, awsome workmanship. http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=156767 Thats the 3 alarms quick track, keypad imobilser, and A2000k Check it out! Anybody want to get incontact with him or want to ask me any questions about my alarm he installed pm me! Michael

My parent good friends actully my boss LOl won targe i think 3 years ago, In a subie WRX beet all the big names like JIM Richards beet all those porche 911's and yeah he's just a privateer NSW rallier He didn't even receive big sponsership after it i think he won 3 years ago or 2 no 2 i think. Any way he sold his winning car to Jim Richards who apparently bought it for his son. Though i would put my 2cents in as ive never posted in the motor sport section He was also telling me last week about new regulations regarding the GTR and is considering getting a done up R32 GTR just for his targa rutern he said he's waiting on the rules that if you coudl run factory NISMO gtr's with big frontmounts or w/e performance extra upgrades they get. http://www.mrtrally.com.au/performance/ima...ga_(Small)a.jpg Thats the guy! Tony Sullens I told him if he's in the market for a GTR to look on this website. IF ANYBODY KNOW'S OF SOMEONE LOOKING FOR A driver he's ya man he just couldnt' afford being aprivater to freight his car pit crew and team over so hasnt' been the last 2 years since winning. He's looking for someone who wants him to drive otherwise he will just do NSW rally. PM me if anyones interested, i can put you in touch with him Michael

Would You Buy Your Child A Car?

I woudl just like to add ppl see red P's R33 and think spoilt little Cee You Next Tuesday. And i'm sure alot that coudl apply to but some of us still have school, go home assignment school work (those doing the HSC) then work saturday and sunday all day at shit rates to save for a car, still try and fit in sport, and gym (some sort of exercise) sleep, social life, and higher insurance. I hate when ppl judge that becuase you got a red p on a nice car then you have been handed to them on a sliver platter. Michael -
Would You Buy Your Child A Car?
Michael_1882 replied to HannahMc's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I had my first job at 8years old, worked 3hours 20mins to get $10 at the local nursary down the road every sunday weeding pot plants. I hated it, it was hell and the old bat made me crawl under the benchs because i was little. This is how i saved up for my first motor bike, i look back now and think i probably only made a couple of hundred and when you consider a second hand motor bike for a kid's still aroudn $2000 --------> But it tough me to work for everything i get. My parents gave me 2grad towards my skyline loaned me another 8 and trhe rest i had saved, the fact is because they know i'll pay them back now im at schoool and the loaned me money intrest free, to work and pay them back. I just turned 18 and choose not to booze up becuase i don't think its fair untill i have them paid back. Thats my oppinion, i think buying an expensive car is wrong, if a car helps or works then thats fine, but to just say here 10k for a car is probably doing more harm then good, i know i've but blood sweat and tears into this skyline and i'm still paying it off. That what gets me out there washing it 2-3times a week (its black and i live of a dirt road) it teacher you to respect it. On the other hand if a parent was to buy the child a 2-3k car thats fine as long as they don't pay for fule and running costs, they need to learn cars are expensive to run. A 2-3k car is proably helping the parents out, they don't have to drive the kid around as much and the fact that they bough the whole car for the kid warrents the parrent saying oi pick up your younger sister. Thats my 2cents worth Michael -
Yeah but some ppl can't get full comp like us youngins it sucks the most disturbing news is our only alternative Alarms, and you say alot are getting past them. =/ Michael

Yeah mate i've been looking for about 2months and reasherching into all of them as for 2way vipers are cheep if you get them from teh states the viper 791XV has all the bells and wistles for abotu $340 shipped over then theres add ons like tilt sensor ect. and that was the way i was going to go but the more i reaserched into it the more i realised theres a better alternative. http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...howtopic=156767 The A2000k is an excerlent choice, and once you get the options for the viper like tilts sensor windowsensor they work out pritty much the same price, allthough there is a specail on that A2000k atm installed. The viper has 2way but the A2000K doesnt' however after reaserching viper, i feel even with out the 2way on the A2000k its still safer, the viper has coloured wires vs the ak's black, and the viper has a 1 point immobilser vs the ak's 3. Basiclly you can cluth start the car with a viper 791XV becuase of the 1point immobilser. The thing with 2way pageing is, the rang is relativly short, and the viper relys on its toway system more then its actully keepingthe car secure liek the ak. If you after some sort of mointering system GPS is the way to go and if you follow that link theres a system call Qucik Track. You pay abotu $400 a year for mointering but they mointer your car when it goes off they call yoru moible, if you dont' answer they call the cops. Pluss they can track it. Hope this helps Michael

Moving To Australia W/ A Gtr As A Bonus?
Michael_1882 replied to js3324's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Yeah it depends on what cours your doing, i would say Sydney Uni has the best reputaions (across the board) world wide, i mean there reconised and if you held a degree from sydney uni and went to work somewhere else from australia it would probably be the best name to have on your certifacte. Michael -
