Na if you do it right you shoudlnt' get any air into it, i mean if you run it with the cap of the raditor you will have a few bubbbles jsut watch it and toip directly into the radiator, there are bleed points for it, but i couldnt' bee bother it worked fine for me. Michael

Hi guys, on my r33 s1 when you turn your lights on there is a light on either side wich is exactly that around the side, i assume you all know wich one im refering to, well one of mine is blowen, and when i flushe dmy raditor , i took out the coolent bottle, and the wiper sprayer bottle, to try and get to it, basiclly i faild LOL, and im jsut asking how do i get to this light to replace the globe. Theres alos a drian plug at the bottom as well, and flush some water back down the top pipe, wich goes around the block, make sure when you fill back up you use concentrate and dilute it, rathern then pre mixed, that way you can add a little more concentrate to compensate the water sitting around the block that u flushed through (you wont' be able to get it all out, im sure there is drainage points for them but not really worth it) Hope that helps, Michael

Does it make much of a sound difference to a stock GTST, ive herd by adding a pod u will her the turbo suck much louder, but the pods in a box so im askign from you personal experence does it make much of a sound difference. And secondly does this mean if a cop pops the hood its rendered "legal" ???? cause the pod is boxed??? Thanks Michael

My mates were driving Saturday night at Erina on the Central Coast, when they called me saying a Black R33 was wrapped around a pole, checking that it wasn't me. They recon if the driver walked away it would of been a miricle. Just wondering if anybody knows any information about this crash and if he did get out ok. Michael

Coolent is the liquid that goes in there, use Tectaloy 90 or 100 (alother 100 is alot more expensive) i flushed my whole system out last night and put new coolent in? Does anyone know how much a S1 R33 GTS-T should take abotu7lt's????

Hmmm someone mentioned it before and it must be the case, i think they have a huge amount of statistics abour R33 crashes, cuase i asked for a quote for when im 18 and i still got the same old, $4000 insured at $15k i think it was, personally, i woudl rather a high escess then high premium. Hmm im with just car 3rd party, there such a wird company see the Prospector has the same car as you same age insured for less and is still paying more???? Might be the post code, but yeah i still dont' under stand how i can be given so many different quotes.

Yeah just get a RC car of ebay or somthing, i think most drifters are electric not the petrol ones, i find the elexctrics work heeps, better, you can jsut put PVC pipe on the back wheels and it works perfectly, my mate and me bought a Awd petrol one, put a 2speed in it, and put pvc pipe over the back wheels, the pipe most hardware storse will give for free as its only a tiny bit, needed.

Thats how i felt, this car was my first car, ive had my licence for about 10months and this was the first car ive bought, i know that feeling, and still very much feeling it today =) I just can't wait for a skyline cruse one day.

LOL i remeber when i was a youngin in year7 or 8 so 13 or so, i saw a RX7 smoke up the whole street, the busses had to wait 3 or so mins for the smoke to clear. So i contiuned walking to the train station, and abotu 5 mins later it went screeming past with the front gard onfire and a paddy wagon chaseing it. LOL I guess it was stolen, but still when i saw that ive always said last day year 12, and if i don't pop a stock tired i'll be dissapointed One of my mates has a HQ i think Holden ute, with apparently 350bhp, so i think he'll out do mine LOL but still the more the merrier LOL

Thanks guys, i really really apricate all your help, and hopefully the next younger driver who comes along can read this post and hopefully it will help them aswell. Basiclly guys, im now with Just Car, 3rd Party. $630 for 3rd party, and extra $150 for fire and theft. This is in my name and i only get $5000 if its stolen or burnt my excess is $1600 wich is high b ut understandble but $950 for over 25's Also if someone hits me who's not insured, and i get all there details, i get given 3k towards repairs only when i use there repairer. Thanks once again for all your help, im still on the search for the ultimate company HAHAHHA if one does exist, oh just car said i can cancel and ne time and they will refund the remaing days. I wasn't alloud to drive it untill i had at least 3rd party property, so i got it wednesday night, and drove to school thursday. Hmmmmm well your actully very far from the truth. I can drive a Supercharged V8 with 40pounds of boost to school if i had that chance to do so. Just becuase i'm 17 doesnt' mean im not aloud to drive a turbo charged car in NSW. I got my Provisional drivers licence in April last year. The new regulations came in i think in June/July last year. Meaning i (along with alot of other 17year old P platers) CAN!!! drive a R33. It's only the unforchant people, who got it after that the new conditions apply to. Any way, i have lot of people in my year driving each day say a good 20-25, but range from the oldest mazda 121 ive ever seen ( i was paid to install 6.5" Fusions in the door AHAHAHHA you shoudl see it) to carollas and older lancers, acords etc, a couple of older Pulsers, OW and a charade this guy drives who thinks its king shit, allthough its a 80's or somthign modle, wich might have resembled the colour red about 15 years ago LOL I worked hard for years to get this car, and it feels so good to drive it to school, i never dreamed when i was younger in high school i would be in this situation, but it feels nice, becuase everone says Hey your cars really nice, and im like thank you, then an old carolla with a 3" cannon puts his foot on teh cluch in the middle of the street and revs it. HAHAHHA i go what about his car. LOL

HAHAHA i drove my R33 GTS-T to school for the first day today. Im in yr 12, and i pulled up out the front, my whole year was like WTF LOL, and ne way when i decied to skip the last 2 periods (it was liek 38 degrees) a fellow student in a late 80's FORD Falcon sedan, yelled out RICE BURNER! HAHAHAH I question, my mate has a Twin Turbo Supra a 86model, 2 lt, and i suspect the boost is wound right up say 1 bar, and it has a Factory blow of valve. This mate is a mechanic and assures me mine has one too, however when he backs off or shifts i her a shhhhhhh, like a blow of not, a heeps loud one, and it will even do it slightly at like 3-4 RPM. Mines nothing like this Standard exhaust, on my line, standard air boc. He's got a 3" right through and a pod? Would this be the differece. Thanks Michael

Thanks guys so much, im realising all to well, and these companies (when you do the old parent method) doesnt' work out they go, ow if an under 21 crashes it's not insured, or for NRMA no under 30 can drive a turbo charged car LOL. If i have 3rd party, and im involved in an accerdent and proved NOT at fault, am i cover??? for all my repairs??? And some one qutoe abtou 5k for theft wich is true this sucks. I though i woudl get around it being in my parents name, but that doesnt' work untill im over 21 then i can do that with shannons, witch will be abotu $1500 a year, at age of 17 im pritty muched f**kED! I really apricate all your help, ive rung about dead set 20 insurance companies interstate and local, and no luck , just car quoted $4700, then anotehr quote, $3200, then another quote back up to $4400, there really strange, shannons seems the best but as i said untill im 21 they won't touch me, and yeah links yoru right, they ask abotu total driving experence wich comes into play as much as age. yeah, insurance sucks. Do most people on this forum under 25 not have insurance. I jsut find it so hard to belive that no company will touch me even if its in my parents name and im not nominated on the policy, u would expect an excess like quadrupal, but still to be covered. I'm still open for susjestions. Thanks guys

Suncorp is no go to, they dont' cover under 25's. NRMA is off the list to, they won't cover a turbo car for people (GET THIS) under 30 I'm backed into a corner here, and have really no where to go? Can anyone else help me? Oh just car quoted me $3200 the second time round. Still way to much money when u think rego 800 so thats 4k to keep it onthe road, im only making 5.5k a year after school job. So it doesn't work out. I'm open for susjestions and help please Michael
