driven a friends soarer tt when i was at monash uni - was good to drive, smooth and comfy. But felt very heavy, couldnt use the turbo as it was auto, and just didnt feel like a sports car. Skylines on the other hand have the sports car feel, smooth engine - relatively comfy and could use the turbo when ever I feel like it due to the manual box. If you still want the soarer, go the manual.

dyno run is used to check the power, boost, afr - basically gives an indication as to how healthy the engine is and whether its running rich or lean. From this, the car can be tuned to get maximum power and efficiency. Had mine done 2 days ago (friday 15/12/06), cost $50 at RE Customs in Vic.

.....well i got a major hang over from last nite, and now this - shower every 2 days? man thats crap! We are going to be one smelly state..... nah, should have clarified that - the whole process takes a long time.....wash, dry, vaccum, polish, applying paint cleaner to those marks that people unexpectedly leave on my car - its a whole process...

j-spec is very good i hear - and funky_munky (shan) works with j-spec i think.... Depending on where you live - but if u live in victoria, I would direct you to ssv, they import skylines supras evos etc - speak to mark - he will be able to tell you all the info

non-turbo, 177,000 klms, auto and it looks like it might need some attention - id suggest rwc and inspection done by a performance workshop edit - whether or not that 177,000 klms is tru or not is another matter....and tis an r32

hmm....so around 23 kw gain (if i was using that figure) - is it worth while enclosing the podfilter in a box? I heard this helps it gain a little bit more power (though i would think the difference is negligible)

Decided to get a power run done while getting the welsh plugs changed and a service. Check it out: What you guys think? All looks good to me, but the jump on the psi readyfrom 7 to 9 is a bit steep isnt it? Car is running on stock settings, except for the turbo back exhaust and the pod filter. Stock power is around 135 kws right? Thanks goes out to Ray & RE Customs again - changed the welsh plugs (which were on their last legs), performed the service and the power run. (sorry about the scanned pics being so big)
