  1. ah now I see
  2. damn it - i fell for it.......
  3. i have to ask though - in the luna park one, your reverse lights are on. If the car is turned on, how is it possible for the reverse lights to be on, with no one there to press the clutch to prevent it from stalling? EDIT: btw, nice pics. Should take my car there for photos
  4. hmmm - i was just reading up last one on the future of performance vehicles. Ultimately I think it will head towards the hybrids - and it certainly does look that way. But I have signed the petition anyway.
  5. saff - is your evo laggy as well? or is that just for the FQ models? I thought the newer turbo models are less laggy in general.
  6. that guy is nuts.....but the car looks fantastic!
  7. very very nice - according to top gear the 400bhp evo that they tested kept up with the murcielago stock on the outside (cept for wheels and exhaust), modify on the inside i say - bit like me see (innocent enough on the outside, but the most evil person on the inside )
  8. pretty good sumo thanks for all your replies peops. I have been looking at the skyline repair manual and trying to figure out which part is which. I think I will still be taking mine to RE Customs for its services, but at the same time, it doesnt hurt to know some of the basics. Thanks anyway
  9. not 2 mention a shit load of oil/petrol
  10. at the wheels or the fly? r33s have 130-140kws @ the treads (unless both cars r modded) how much would the rear half cut set me back? $5k? $10k? i wanna put that v12 in my 'line
  11. dang
  12. you gotta realize that there are some awesome supras out there - most are owned by kids though, and these kids rice the NA's up heaps. Personally, I dont mind either of the twin turbos (supras or gtrs). GTRS will def be practical. and yeah for 25 g, you can get a 95 (maybe 96 gtr if its being imported from japan). for 25 grand you can get a 93 or 94 supra twin turbo (so about a year old) - however I did see a 97 blue supra twin turbo on j-spec just recently. In my opinion, if your going for a supra go the 96+ model as they are updates. Same with the skyline - 96+. If you are only going to use it as a road car, get an NA supra or a r33 gtst series 2 (imho). But remember, as i always tell people, these cars are more at home on the track - so be careful with the right foot....
  13. best advice ever - so sad to see such a nice car all battered and bruised....
  14. r33 gtst - 16k for stock (or there abouts) depending on your age, insurance varies - for me 25 - $1000 rego around 600 or so leaves u with 2400 for mods r32 gts-t around 13k? insurance around 1000 for a 25 year old and rego - leaves u with 5400 for mods EDIT: for the r33 with $2400 for mods -> around 1200 for turbo back exhaust, 100 for pod, leaves u with 900 for powerfc (i think) and $200 remaining- boost to around 10 or 11psi and thats your minor mods done (i think )

is that tera patrick? if so, i will have her... (sorry no pics)
  16. believe it or not, the rx7 won (despite having hte lowest power). then came the s15 or the gtt and last the supra - but power wise, supra was the best. All had basic mods - intercooler, pod and exhaust. I bought the mag 1 or 2 years ago, you might be able to find it at borders (sometimes they have special packages that come with older mags) or u can order it online via back issues i think
  17. any car is expensive to fix where parts are concerned - best to get one where parts are plentiful
  18. try to get your hands on the special issue (i forget what number it was, but it had a pic of a blue s15 in the front) of speed magazine that gave mods for supras - that will show you roughly howmuch u can spend on mods depending on the different stages.... plus it had comparisions of the rz, gtt, s15 and rx7 as well.... just saw this while searchign for the issue of speed that had supras in it:
  19. jap spec RZ is only 280hp - but this is disputed (similar to the gtr). US and british spec RZ is at 320hp Better to go with the RZ - should you wish to do mods to it. SZ is ok - but when it comes to mods, you are restricted imo - and installing a turbo is not as easy as it sounds (or so i hear)
  20. The 2JZ engine was in the 1993 - onwards (the 96/97 + models came with VVTI i believe). It can be either NA or twin turbo. The main difference is the power and the weight (if you are comparing to the R32). r32 gtst has 160 kws and 290nm torque? , where as the JZA80 twin turbo has 206 and 430nm torque. But the supra weighs a lot more than the gtst. 0-100 in the supra is said to be about 5.6, where as the gtst is in the low to mid 6's. Both engines are durable - strong internals, revvy. Supra twin turbo in manual comes with an extra gear. But down sides, supra has no space at hte back. The r32 i think has more space in the back.
  21. the JZA80 model?
  22. hit the search button yo most clients seem happy with their cars and service.
  23. looks good, mint and shiney - we all do stupid things atleast once, hopefully we learn from our mistakes

does not matter - fitness is the key - encourage her to get fit. But just so that shes not lying about it, your gonna have to make her prove that shes actually been attending those fitness classes - i.e she has to demonstrate what she did at the fitness joint
