  1. HAPPY B'Day!
  2. thats a lot of ducks......... nice photos btw
  3. Tis the aftermath, no?
  4. wouldnt it be better to change the guages or add more relevant ones if the car has been modified heaps and is used for track days and that kinda shit? The only use i see for these guages (if the car is not modified) is that they tend to raise the female curiosity (my friend regularly gets women looking at his wrx at night because of how the cabin is illuminated by the guages - but his car is modded heaps)
  5. brighton has porsches and ferraris - but down beach rd i have seen a fair few imports. This might be a very long way of doing things, but cant he borrow stock parts, install them, get the car registered and what not and then put back the mods? Thats if he wants to have Vic registration?
  6. brilliant - didnt bother listening to this until today - hilarious
  7. Damn thats a nice colour for an R33 - how much did that set you back????
  8. rain, hail, then the clearest blue sky ever.............then 2 seconds after that hail......

    Driving Lights

my normal lights are much much brighter than the fog lights.....and, i seen the fogs on other cars/4wds - they are much brighter....I sometimes drive with them on, sometimes drive with them off - drove through chapel on saturday with them on, the cops didnt stop me (dont know why)
  11. What you got running under there?????
  12. that rx7 looked soo mad in the movie - the cars in that movie in general were better than the second one......but still love the first one - had the 200sx, rx7, skyline and supra - man, i just bought the fast and furious movie set and bad boys 1 and 2 so looks like a long night ahead....
  13. i bought my greddy turbo timer from bt-revolutions - then got it installed at RE Customs. Any of the sponsers of SAU will be worth while checking. I got the greddy one cos its a turbo timer, and also calculates the 0-100 time and 0-400m etc....but the other good one is the Apexi timer, but thats only a timer. Edit - the HKS one is a bit more expensive, but the autobarn guys keep saying that its caused their customers a lot of problems. I dont know how true that is - but i dont trust autobarn cos the dickhead (must be like 20 years old and working as a casual) gave me the wrong wheel lock nuts and said that he is sure it will fit my wheels.... So my advise is to go to someone who knows their stuff, a proper import mechanic or stores that deal with imports and accessories for imports.....
  14. The one that I hear most of is Race Pace. oh and also ICE Performance -> Leewah took his gtr there? I take my gts-t to RE Customs (springvale - www.recustoms.com.au) for the service and any mods that I wanna put on it. Probably best to visit a few of the workshops and see what they say - then stick to the one you/your bro is most comfy with.
  15. HaHAHAHA what an idiot! didnt even dismantle the car and sell the parts but decided to keep it for himself and do some interior mods....what a jack ass!!!
  16. more scorpios! excellent happy birthday mate
  17. from one car enthusiast to another: get some experience with driving etc....im glad i got my R33 when I was 24. Had I got it when I was 17, i surely wouldnt be here now. You said you had a years worth of experience driving a vl - with no licence too might I add - a years worth of experience isnt going to teach you much. And at 16/17 no kid realises that he/she has to be responsible on the roads - most kids just speed (i know one guy - he was 18 at the time - who did 110 in a 60 zone - got caught by the speed camera, then did 130 in a 70 zone - and curry parents, when they know their kid(s) did something stupid its a beating for sure), show off to their mates and do the "cool" stuff that they see on the fast and furious. Its obvious that your mind is made up. But do pause and think about it. Get the experience - preferably with someone who has been driving for a while (i.e your parents), and use a car that is easy to control if situations get out of hand. Even with my 9 years worth of experience (including L's), when I first got the skyline I had to get used to the fact that it was a rear wheel drive - and the first time i really got reminded was when I slid it in the wet while taking a turn. Let go of the gas, and concentrated on controlling the car. Wasnt in any danger, but it certainly woke me up. Had this happened to me when I was 17, I wouldnt have known what to do. Lifes short, but you dont have to make it shorter.
  18. I have had coolant leaks, but thats due to a rusted welsh plug. I believe that it might be wise to just check to see that all the plugs are ok in the car - just to be safe (welsh plugs are there for each cylinder - am i right?). Good thing you found out about it - I was driving the car, didnt even realise that coolant was leaking - was on empty by the time i got home one night, and the temp guage just shot up - boy did I feel stupid for not checking the leakage.
  19. lol - thanks guys “Well, birthdays are merely symbolic of how another year has gone by and how little we've grown. No matter how desperate we are that someday a better self will emerge, with each flicker of the candles on the cake, we know it's not to be, that for the rest of our sad, wretched pathetic lives, this is who we are to the bitter end. Inevitably, irrevocably; happy birthday? No such thing.” - Jerry Seinfeld
