  1. not illegal - but if u have the pod and an aftermarket intercooler, then you could be defected if the cops stop you.
  2. if its just loosening the belt a bit, it can be done without having to remove the whole front. There is a cover underneath the car which has to be removed (can be done while the car is on the hoist), then its just a matter of using a spanner or socket spanner to adjust the belt. Well, thats what happened to mine anyway...and there hasnt been any troubles so far...
  3. Sounds like what I had after my timing belt was changed - its a 10-15 min job. Main thing is its nothing serious
  4. Sounds like the belt might just be a bit tight - its often the case with the new belts (im assuming here its the same problem that I had). It would die out in a couple of months - but it is quite embaressing driving a hot car when it makes a noise like that.
  5. is it like a high pitched noise? (like its there when u start it, and when u press a bit of gas or if ur stationery) if it is, then maybe the belts are a bit tight - I had the problem when mine was changed - its a quick fix 15 minute job
  6. you are kidding right? $20,000???? Dudes & Dudettes - what are you all waiting for? Free bump for ya man - good luck with the sale - it sure is a bargain....
  7. Hey! I saw your car at RE the other night when I went to pick up my car! Rays a good guy, he will fix up the problem.
  8. used to get that in my old civic, now its running gears 1,2,and 4 i think its gotta do with somesorta springs or something - get a mechanic to check it out - cos i dont think its easy to have a look at by yourself...
  9. yep - sometimes its worth paying extra to get what you want...unless you are one of them people who like to buy it cheap, and build your weapon from the ground up....
  10. sell the parts off - get the money back - choose someone reputable like those that sponser SAU or buy one thats already here so your friends can test drive it and get it mechanically inspected
  11. hope you got adjustable suspension when going over speed humps....
  12. Fusion is supposed to be up there with brands such as Alpine, JL audio, Kicker etc In the end it comes down to what quality you are after I guess...the prices in the brochure are cheap, so its a good buy if you are not too concerned.
  13. Ah you got good tastes my friend - thats what I was gonna get if my Sony headunit didnt work well with the alpine speakers/amp/Sub..... Lovemoreful - any update on the present? which did you end up getting?
  14. mine was not that much - it was around 100 for the whole thing to be fitted as far as I know......
  15. I own a series 2 r33 gts-t (1996) - trust me, I love the car to death. I love getting mods for it. I love driving it. I love washing it. I love to just sit there and look at it all day long. But, whenever I see a gtr - I always gawk at it like a dumbass. Saw one today on springvale road heading towards blackburn. It seriously looked like a snake, slithering inside and out - just sooooooooo hot! R32 by the way, in a brillian silver finish - deep dish rims, big exhaust - just looked hot! To me, a gtr just stands out like a mofo - the wider body, the grills, the wheels - just awesome However, despite the fact that the outside looks nice - the inside of the R32 looks very old to me. If you can get one with an immaculate interior - then man - ur one lucky sob. Most of the r32 interiors have been very badly looked after when they come from japan (thats my opinion though - and Im one of those nut cases who vaccums the shit outta his car, armour all the interiors, polish etc etc every week) Performance. I have never been in a gtr - and I am very happy with my gts-t - but I wouldnt compare it to the gtr. Lemon - highly unlikely. unless you buy it form some idiot who used it to thrash every day, and didnt look after it. Besides - what lemon gets outlawed from a major racing event like bathurst? Think about it But hey, im a fellow skyline owner - afterall i could be biased
  16. i wouldnt trust Big bird and kermit - I have heard them stoned .... infact they smoked soo much that kermit thought the "f*ck you" was a number.... http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/21886
  17. www.idiotdriver.com.au but u have to sum it up in 300 characters or something
  18. nice - well good luck with it anyway...good mods too, some lucky bugger is gonna be very happy with it... and the deposit thing is a good idea, but also take down a licence...I remember some SAU member was saying how some idiot came for a test drive and then tried to steal the car only to crash it a few meters down the road.....
  19. Yeah mine does similar - but only until about 50klms or so - after that it moves. Skyline fuel gauges are notorious for being misleading.... for example, at the empty line once i pumped up to 45 ltrs indicating 20 ltrs left, then another time at the empty line i pumped up 55 ltrs indicating 10 ltrs left...go figure Edit - could explain why my friends r33 was full tank, then the next time he drove it - it was half tank....
  20. jeez man, glad you got out of that ok parts it - there are heaps of people who want parts for their 33....
  21. whos that shady looking character taking pics of your car??? Just kidding - nice car, but why you selling it? good luck with the sale
  22. Here is the one that I used before.... And here is the one that I use now.... (56k warning)
  23. my 33 gets me around 350-400 per 50 ltrs (the empty line). So Im sure it can go to about 500km for a full tank which is 65 ltrs.
  24. i think you should put the prices before the mods notice this...
  25. less bling and more muscle i say
