Man, the 'line is a very tempremental thing. I remember a couple of times, i pressed the gas a bit too much, and it just decided to slip the tires. Had to pull over and check that I hadnt dumped in my pants! Know the car, know the limits.

Hmmm def not option 3. I would go with option 1, making the car unique is very very satisfying. But I have seen r33 gtrs - they sexy as. Since I already have a S2 gtst, id stick with the gtst and mod it up a bit. But remember the cops - they can defect you anytime because of your mods.

about time, some truck came unbelievably close to my car's rear today.....

Another Heartbreaking Got Defected Last Nite Story.
eMsta replied to ODessA's topic in General Automotive Discussion
hey - since ur all down about being defected, I would like to share a lil sumthin sumthin that i saw while driving around chadstone shopping center (vic). 2 cop cars - both of the commodore ss - parked side by side. 3 cops (1 male, 2 female). One of the commodore had its hood up, and the male cop was looking under the hood. Along the path, I saw some guys (early 20's) having a giggle. My guess is that the car with the hood up decided to give up on the cops. Never thought i see that, but was a funny sight...... -
best i have gotten was around 400 at around 54ltrs these days im getting a constant 350 (or thereabouts) for 50 ltrs

Pics are up of the new exhaust, video coming soon Edit - unable to load pics, will try and link them

Just got it done at RE Customs - about $150 (5000 klm service)
-
gawd damn - i feel sorry for the suby

Well guys/gals - its finally here! My turbo back exhaust is complete! BATMBL s/steel front/dump pipe, large 3 inch catco cat and Trust PE2 cat back! About $1400 odd, for the whole lot including installation and it sounds great! (well to me anyway) Got RE Customs in Springvale (Vic) to install it - and yeah, it makes a whole lot of difference. Havent really taken the car for a good spin yet, due to the rain, but it feels a lot better to drive. Its extremely quiet too, until about 4000 revs - then it makes a howling sorta sound. The overall installation was pretty much spot on - everything fitted perfectly according to Ray Evans. Took it in today at around 11am, was finished by about 3 (including my 5000klm service). Will post up pics after I washed the car. (Michael - batmbl - thanks heaps bud, was a great buy the dump/front pip and cat )
-
just an update - booked the car for the install on friday at 12pm at RE customs - should have it back either at the end of friday or on monday if i cant pick it up
-
Yeah, I went and picked it up from Michael after work. I will be getting RE Customs to fit it in along with the cat back I ordered from them. Spoke to michael, he said it shouldnt be too hard to fit the pipes on, as they are specifically made for the R32/33/34. I wanted to do it myself - but I think since Im doing the whole lot I will just get a professional fit. Plus I need to get my car serviced and the new turbo timer to be installed anyway. So after all that, it should be running a turbo back exhaust: BATMBL s/steel split dump/front + catco 3 inch large cat + Trust Power Extreme 2 cat back Edit - im expecting atleast a 20rwkw increase with the whole system. Michael estimates it to be more than that - but we will see. All I know is that the increase in this system, will be more than what I was told with the x-force (which would have been 10 - 15rwkw max) EDIT Again - REcustoms said they will do it for 900 - that price includes the price for the cat back. I will have to show them the split dump/front and cat first though - incase they might require a bit more for the install.
-
Woohoo! got the split dump/front and cat today! Checked them after picking them up - looked good. Now just gotta fit them on sometime next week!

gtr wing rocks. Plus it wont attract cops as such. Nice wheels too
-
get it reported ASAP - hopefully you have that idiot's number plates. Hope your ok.

I think any places where there is a bit of trees - always gives a good reflection on the car. Just some pics i took yesterday (from my other post) - http://image-cache.skylinesaustralia.com/f...-1151214224.jpg http://image-cache.skylinesaustralia.com/f...-1151214335.jpg http://image-cache.skylinesaustralia.com/f...-1151214287.jpg http://image-cache.skylinesaustralia.com/f...-1151214314.jpg

eMsta replied to Antimatter's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)

hmm, im curious now - might go and check it out next time im in the hood. Im usually around there every weekend at the least, cos i go to visit my bro
-
Nah bud - i live in mt waverley. I was on my way to my bros place - i think the primary school was glendal primary? All these new houses around it - Glen Waverley area.

Well, got my car washed up today real quick, and thought why not go for a cruise and get some pics taken. Headed up past Lysterfield and towards Emerald (vic). Ended up going down some road, that suddenly turned into a dirt road, and now my car is flithy again! (so no pics after that incident took place). Anyway, enjoy. Also saw a maroon skyline (series 1 or 1.5) turning towards narre warren - saw some decals on the rear quarter windows - not sure if its a SAU member or not, but looked good
-
nothing that we can do. Even if we write to the government saying that we are enthusiast drivers - some idiot will probably do the fast and the furious thing and ignite the whole debate again..... enjoy the car while u can....

Woman And Child Killed By Skyline

I think the person who posted that, saw from the pictures that the car looked very much like a gtr. -
hey bud, I dont own a gtr - but I can relate to your worries about owning that special car. As ellie has said - regular servicing will keep your car in great shape. You know your car better than anyone else - so enjoy it, and if things seem a bit strange, get it checked up immediately. I always worry about the car - sometimes a bit too much - but there are times when I just let go of all the worries. The cabin is like my refuge from the outside world - and i tell ya, when you let go of all your worries and stress (car-related or otherwise), you can really see and feel how special the car is. Lifes too short to keep stressin, so enjoy it to the fullest my friend! (doesnt mean that you have to go in there, and rev it to the max for every gear - thats not what i mean, but just enjoy what you worked so hard to achieve)

Woman And Child Killed By Skyline

Sheez bud - hows ur brother doing? He must be very traumatized by the whole incident - hopefully hes on the way to recovering from it. The problem here, as we now know, is that the goverment and vicroads were playing "pass the responsibility" - no one wanted to install the lights. It takes a death or 2 for them to realise that "oh...maybe we do need one. Let us decide over a fancy dinner meeting". Idiots. Because of that, everyone see the news, sees an import and then they think "oh....look, a fast car! looks like a gtr - must have been speeding". Its also said, that the government had something like $10 million to install new crossing lights or something (unless i heard wrong) - why it hasnt been used i dunno.
