Just pumped up today - got 340 klms in 49.6 ltrs - so about 7klms/ltr of optimax Looks like for some reason, I got better mileage out of ultimate...shoudl try that again to confirm....

Was it purchased from GT Auto? If so, they will take care of it. I had a water pump leak, wayne and jarrod took care of it - dropped the car on friday, picked it up monday morning. There was a problem with the Air Con (wasnt re-gassed) again, they took care of it (cos it was only 1 or 2 weeks that i had the car). When going for imports, always best to do a solid research - you know who is good and whos just talking crap by the amount of knowledge they have and the time they spend explaining everything (as well as the quality of the car). Added bonus, if they own a 'line too. Anyway - thats just my 2 cents.

only reason i ended up with the gtst is due to the turbo & price, once you go turbo, there is no goin back to a NA. The 2jz is a strong engine - but the NA i think is boring. Having said that - put a RZ and a r33/r34 gtr side by side, i would not have a clue as to what to go for - I like them both. But now that the new gtr is coming out - i think the supra maybe a little out dated.....hmmm...as you can see...even when im writing this, i have no idea what I would buy.....

my last fill - was done when i had done 320 klms and filled up 51.36 ltrs (bp ultimate) Previously it was 410klms at 46 or 47 ltrs (bp ultimate) now im on shell optimax - see how much i can get when it gets to the empty line - will post the results.

Im suprised that he gave negative remarks. The cars I saw there, all were fantastic - I did a thorough check on the ones I liked though, and couldnt find a problem. Hmm..maybe a once off incident. Cos, everyone I spoke to said, that their cars are probably the more legit ones...

Saw this car in the flesh i think (unless SSV just imported it in for you) - sounded awesome - thought it was marks car, but he said it was part of the stock at SSV. Sounded bloody orgasmic! Congrats on the purchase!!

hmm....if its in the same price range as those ones - i say GIDDY UP!!!! but i doubt it, its a car in with the likes of porsche and ferrari now.....150,000 is a realistic figure...though im not sure what to think of the 7spd sequential

i did a calculation a couple of weeks ago - it worked out to be about $40K for an r33 gtst s2 - thats cheaper than most cars here!! Edit: its about 5,000,000 yen - and the conversion rate is around 80 yen to the dollar (i think)

Alex - there are 2 dealers i can highly recommend: Wayne from GT Auto Imports (croydon) AND Mark/Peter from SSV (Oakleigh) I got mine from GT Auto Imports - fantastic car and loving every minute of it! Plus when you want to get an import, you want to talk to someone who knows about the car, and who can help you out when you have problems with it. Both the above dealers - they know their skylines. I think wayne now imports them on a customer by customer basis- and has only one 1995 white skyline left in his dealership - definetly worth talking to him. Mark has plenty of skylines around - I saw heaps there today when I was driving past. Those are the 2 that Id recommend. The other thing is, Wayne does complaincing for most dealerships - so thats a bonus, cos both him and his mechanic know the cars inside out. I got mine for 17,500 all up with 72,000 on the clock - bone stock though. But he is flexible, you can ask him if there are any goodies that he can chuck in. I wont comment on some of hte other places that I went to. However, if you are going to kamikaze, talk to warren - he is a top bloke too - very helpful.

sticky this thread for the other drivers that recently got a skyline....its a valuable lesson. Just because we drive awesome machines, dont mean that we have every right to crack the shits at other drivers, no matter if they were the ones that initiated stupid driving.

Series 2/3 R33 (96-98) - easier to maintain - when compared to an r32 gtr
