Hi Guys, Since I got a promotion at the start of the year, there is now a graduate role available within Delfin Lend Lease. The future applicant will be based at Lakeside Pakenham and Laurimar (Doreen) Projects, and will be working within the finance team - so you will be working with myself and 2 Finance Managers. http://www.lakesidepakenham.com.au/ http://www.delfinlaurimar.com.au/ The role is pretty much start up - so will be things like: • Maintenance of Trading applications – Oracle based application (CORE) and in-house application ISSaC (settlement System); • Checking of coding of creditor invoices prior to processing; • Addressing queries from suppliers; • Processing of lots sales and receipts into the accounting system; • Preparation of reconciliation of General Ledger and Project Ledger; • Monthly Management Reports to Head Office; and • Preparation of monthly BAS documentation to Head Office; • Assistance with preparing PCG, QPR and CA documentation. If anyone is interested, please send me a PM, and I will give you my work email for your resume. cheers

It is amazing that one person survived! That car is barely recognisable...... It is sad, but the driver was an idiot! Word is that he was restricted to only one passenger, and had prior speeding convictions, and was due to face court over failing to comply with a community based order that was handed down to him last year. I guess some people never learn - even if his license was suspended or whatever, he still would have gotten into the car and so would have his friends. What is upsetting is what the families now have to go through - man, i would hate to think what my parents/brother/sis-in-law/relatives would all go through if this happened to me - hence why i hardly speed. Why dont people just learn from these kind of accidents and sit and think "oh shit, if i speed like that i would get royaly f**ked up!!" (remember that blue 34 gtr in NSW that got airborn, hit a tree, and ripped in half killing all 3?) Perhaps police need to use more upsetting TV ads, bill boards, radio ads, stalls at motorshows or show n shine etc by showing crashed cars etc. Perhaps even need to show crashed cars at those drag days or track days - just so that people realise. Sometimes when we see things in person it gets imprinted better in our minds that "shit, that could be my car if i was being stupid and doing drifts or 120 in a 60 zone" Yep - 2 more idiots who will continue to f**k around on public roads. Apparently one of them laughed at the cops when he was told his car would be impounded. That indian dude who did the hit and run - that crash happened (killing that unborn baby) due to road rage, and he was doing 10 or 20 kph over. Imagine crashing into a car at 170kph! If these idiots are caught, give them a jail term!! Dont give them chances....its just like those crims that go around beating and stabbing people - slap on the wrist aint going to help anyone.

hey man, condolences from down here in vic. Time will heal all wounds. It is a great loss for everyone - especially when it involves kids too. Only thing that you and your family can do is to rally around him. It will take time, but be there for him. When its time for him, he might want to see a counsellor or psychologist - its a big ask, but they do help a fair bit. And a psychologist is also free if you go through doctors recommendation and medicare. Everyone bounces back though - just gotta keep your head up. RIP I guess this is another reason why we shouldnt be too conserved with our lives - live life to the fullest and enjoy it such that you live it the way you want to be remembered.

96 33 GTS-T - performance mods are only pod filter, exhaust. Was getting 350klm per fill up (about 50 ltrs) - did a full service, sensors cleaned etc - now it does on average 10.5 ltrs per 100kms

ok so mine is not a stag - but had a couple of guys in an xr8 ute ask for a drag down here in vic (near narre warren) - i told them "nah man...its cool" - funny enough they were polite and said "thats cool bro" but yeah....usually if people want to drag me, i just let them go. Not going to risk 1) my life 2) other peoples lives (in my car or around my car) 3) my car 4) my licence - just not worth it

The Cops Are Ramping It Up - Leave The Skyline At Home!
eMsta replied to Spunky Munky's topic in Victoria
got stopped by cops last night, they did an inspection of hte car, breath tested me, and then let me go freaking was nervous as though - first time in 4 years of owning the car that i got stopped for a check of the cars mods -
what priestley said was that (based on your wording) you said "always up against your mate" - it kind of implies that its more than once for example - i could say "im always at the gym" - meaning I go there frequently. I wouldnt say "always at the gym" when I just go there once. I would have said "i once went to the gym" so I think its your wording that has been questioned - were you up against your mate in his 300zx once? or were you always up against your mate in his 300zx?

no - im not going to give a lecture dude - no amount of lectures/advice will change a person's mind about something if they choose not to listen. When I took my car to sandown - it was fine on the straights and corners - and mine is pretty much stock. perhaps get your car checked out by a mechanic. perhaps the other guys on here may know more....
