Just wondering if there are any forms to fillout when selling without roadworthy. The vicroads website states that a person can sell a car without roadworthy by cancelling registration and removing the plates. Is this all I would have to do if I wanted to get rid of the car? I had been trying to get rid of the civic for ages now, but its probably no point, so thinking of either selling without roadworthy for anyone who wants a car to fix and use as a "train station" car or as a wreck for spare parts. Basically, third gear pops out and according to one mechanic it means that the whole box would have to be changed, and that is $300+ labour.
I figure its no point fixing it as the car itself would only go for about 700 max (as there is nothing else wrong with it apart from some rust).
