modify only till a point i reckon...at one stage i was gonna pour all my money into the car, aiming for a 230/240 rwkw monster....but then i figure, if im gonna do deca or track, why not just spend on the minor stuff (aim for around 190rwkw), upgrade the brakes/suspension/tires, and just enjoy it when the clubs got special days on. i mean, the car was bought for around 18k + $15-20k on mods = 38k max - not worth it, as i will only be able to sell for about 18k. I think it was INASNT - he had such a mad r33, but wasnt able to sell it for a long time.....seriously was teh maddest r33 i seen in a while....and if something like that only went for 22k or something...one has to realy think if its worth going all out on mods.... your better off with the minor mods, enjoy the car - put what ever else into investing and savings for a rainy day....thats what im doing now....main thing is to not let the car take over....

last i checked, it shouldnt be rivited. The blue plate should be at the back of the engine bay (sorta like in front of the dash and stuff) and it should be held on by these white-ish looking pins.... there is a thread on the nissan fast program - leave the numbers there, for someone to check

Probably would get an exhaust for about grand or so (x-force is a good one to get for under a grand through just jap). Then get an r34 smic - good for 200rwkws. keep boost at around 11 or 12 psi with stock turbo (might have to get aftermarket ecu). That should keep you happy till you get a 34 gtt i think.

last i heard, racv and nrma and those kinda places dont know much about imports and stuff....best to take it to a proper tuning shop. Id only use RACV and stuff for ordinary cars (eg, if i was going to buy a honda civic for daily transportation etc) - just my 2 cents though

optus is dodgey - some lady called up and told me that i should upgrade to the $49 cap with 'yes' time - but then the stupid ass didnt put me on the 'yes' time option - ended up getting a $300 bill, that optus didnt want to help me sort out (because apparently i heard the lady wrong and that it was my fault)...so then i had to pay another $88 to go on to the $49 cap with the 'yes' time option....asked if I can cancel the plan and go to a prepaid option, that will cost me $250 odd.....it was a no win situation for me. Probalby will go to prepaid at the end of this plan.... I have a 3 prepaid phone for work now - its pretty cool. $30 recharge = 150 free smses, and 150 mins worth of free calls to other 3 phones..... optus was good once upon a time, with its 'yes' time and 'yes' weekend...but now its crap....

yep..was speaking to my dealer a couple of months ago, he said, they had put an r33 on a hoist and checked how much the rears actually turn - and at 100km/h, its not much really. Personally, I dont see the point of it. I have driven other rear wheel drive cars without 4ws, and hicas does not make a difference - for me anyway.

any more than 12, and you might have to get a high flow turbo or something....stock is on safe till 12psi, any more - as the others have said - kaplaow!!
