tailshaft to suit as well, im not 100% sure but the RB20 one might do, everythings pretty much plug/bolt in and play. pretty straight forward to do yourself over a weekend. if theres anything else someone else on here will pick up on it lol

DASH SKIN, IGNITION BAREL, ALL LOCKS, AND KEY. the shell i bought didnt come with any of them. please PM me, or email [email protected] OR 0431535745. needed pretty asap, can come up to/ over to adelaide or melbourne if needed, prefer to have them couriered to me hto./

is it a DET motor? if so interested in the bottom end, as long as its not farked

heya guys after a complete bottom end of a r3 s1/2 rb25det bottom end.... so pretty much something with a farked head or headgasket.... i have a complete motor with a spun bottom end bearing, and cbf rebuilding it, otherwise ill go to stupid with it.... throw me a PM with anything, basicly want to be able to bolt my head on, headgasket,ARP headstuds and drop it into my car. cheers daniel

lol. figured the box had to come out.. so just use the same bearing bit, but take a bit off it on a lathe then? that would be the source of the hassles fingers crossed its all good. so should be right with the oil we used.?

everything youve listed in the first post should cover it. use a cefiro crossmember if youf so concerned about the bonnet clearing the motor, this will sit the motor further down. with correct suspension tuning it wont upset the balance all tha much... just makes it behave more like a 33/34.. to hard to explain over the net. g/l with it, wiring is the worst part....

lol, id say that would be it. as the car was in a massive rush to be put together, me thinks we had one that wouldnt fit and decided to leave it out untill we replaced the cluthc.. haha the motor that we used **used** to be auto... we just put manual flywheel etc on it, but the bush we had wouldnt fit.... ideas? massive thanks for the replys to guys

swapped alternators over, no more battery light. so thats fixed. ghot defected for no tread on tyres on the test drive but, so that was gay. taking box back out saturday, new throwout bearing, and VMX80.. and all should be sweet

i heard back a whiles ago of somethign liek this. thought it was all rumours n thats it. i for one think itll be itneresting how they get around the whole "gearbox used to be mounted off the ddiff thing".... wont be a great deal of room to fit a hollinger or soemthing up to the motor... as there is no trans tunel for it.... good luck to em

lol, just got of the phone to him about that. id say we missed an earth or somethign while in a rush to get the car ready for last thursday... fun nite 2mrw nite sorting that out to. itd be nice for some input about this clutch/box noise... i hope its just oil.... less fakrin round. just to clarify VMX80 is the shat for these boxes?

heya all. i hel.ped shayne do the swap. possibly is this vibration due to the trans oil used. we used a synthetc elf racing oil. has been used on a heap of galant rally cars with pzitner (sp?) boxes and no hassles... figured it wouldnt hurt a gtst 5speed. ghoing to try using VMX80 2mrw nite, and have another looky. failing that box out, go over the clutch and flywheel assembly (again) and go from there.... advice would be greatly appreciated hahah

**stupid question alert** so this would bolt straight up to just a normal RB20DET cast low mounted manifold? just triple checking.... and how laggy on a 20det... drop me a PM with best possible price.....
