R32 did come with rb25de in the later models. GTS 25.

The cefiro and laurel also came out rb25de.
No rb25det though.
Thats because you cant use it.
cam switching is for Vtec/mivec/other variable cam engines. A Cam FC provides similar functions to an Apexi VAFC.
Tuning a cam fc is the same as an SAFC. Anyone with a dyno can do it.
The SAFC is a better unit as it has a knock input and a monitor.
I thought the neo did have a knock monitor? Anyway, if you arent going to play with the settings on the road then you wont need the knock monitor.
Its not concrete evidence but none of the other evidence in this thread is either but Best motoring compared stock examples of R32/33/34 against evo8 and sti9 and the track ranking was R34-STI-EVO-R33-R32. R32 got hammered big time on the track.
Overall the R34 GTR is faster, regardless of weight, the suspension and engine are just better.
The R33 s2/R34 GTS-T will be pretty well matched
and i think the R33 GTS would be the slowest then the r32 then r34.
Pixel8r : Looks like a boost controller would give you a decent hp bonus as your boost is falling off like the standard turbo.
I really need a better turbo that doesnt fall off after 5krpm
hah i get a load of looks too. The whole loud yellow, loud exhaust, loud BOV, loud filter, dragging its arse around thing tends to get attention.
Hah, i just point and stare back.
SAFC is just an AFM voltage regulator. All it does it alter the voltage coming from the AFM to the ECU.
If you reduce the AFM voltage the ecu thinks less air is coming in and puts in less gas, it also reads timing off a different part of the map than usual so will probably run a bit more advance.
You may get an increase in HP but probably not a huge amount.
Also the AF gauge will pretty much always read rich under load.
