  1. Theres quite a few of these in NZ. ranging in price from $8-15g. I would still buy the stag as the turbo Avenir is auto only and weighs 1500kg. I just prefer the stag.
  2. Heres something that might interest a few of you. This is a datalog of the timing the ECU runs through R&R at about 11-12psi. Notice the sharp drop at 4000rpm and the pickup at 5600 rpm. This is the exact time that you feel R&R and a lot of the reason why it feels so lame. Its mapped against rpm and AFM voltage. AFM voltage at the start of R&R is at 4.2v.
  3. at a guess youll probably get similar gains to an SAFC. ~15-20kw. I hope to be able to support a high flow turbo and get to 200-210rwkw with safc and sitc. The only gripe i have with the SITC is that its adjustment points are too far apart. it adjusts at 800/2400/4000/5600/7200 rpm. I would love to have a 4700rpm adjustment heh.
  4. hey mike, did you move the trans cooler and convert to electric fan? Im looking at doing my FMIC soon. Any other things to watch out for?
  5. interestingly i have about 10-15% negative dialed in on my SAFC and also have bumped up the timing on my SITC. I think it is pretty borderline detonation but R&R usually cuts out heaps of timing.
  6. Just a quick question here, would any autobox shop be able to do this sort of work? As im in NZ im thinking about rolling down to a shop and asking what they can do for me..
  7. i just ran a new vac line from the fuel breather to the pipe on the bottom of the canister. The other line i blocked off where it joins the sensor at the back of the engine. You could just throw screws in each line and cable tie them in.
  8. i have that valvoline synpower synthetic 5w-40 in mine at the moment. No worries, runs just dandy. And i dont see why ol george cant post here?
  9. Not sure, i thought it was all normal. Another dayz option perhaps? I know the carbon lights are extra. Not sure if chrome would really suit the yellow paint. At the moment it has dobi sport springs from laurel/cefiro. They are too low all around as the front has 15mm rubber spacers and the rear has shortened shocks. It hits bump stops quite a bit and is generally a bit of a pain. Thats what i get for paying a mag shop to "lower" my car i guess. Unsure of the measurements of it all but the back has about -2.5 -> -3 deg of camber and cant really be udjusted out much as the wheels will foul on the guards so ill have to roll the guards at some stage. The stock ride is much nicer, but doesnt have the boy racer look.
  10. i bought them from a mag shop, someone must have upgraded their v35 to 19" chromes or something as they had these wheels and some 350z wheels there. The 350GT probably doesnt need wider than 8" wheels really, heck the stag has heaps of traction on them. Pretty sure these are all 18x8
  11. i do believe it is a dayz wing... and the wheels are 18x8 all round so no need for two sets! Cheers!!
  12. Got a better copy of my dyno sheet now: I have extensively changed the settings since it was tuned as it drove like shit with the tuner's settings. Waaay too much R&R which i have now smoothed out with extra SAFC/SITC tweaks. Mods: 3" exhaust dump back SAFC2 SITC Pod filter Profec B S2 Running 11.5-12psi
  13. I dont think ive posted here yet! Strange for me. Anyway heres my latest pics: Bling.
  14. I have 18x8 skyline g35 wheels on mine with few issues. They are +30 offset. So 18x8 +30 offset should be the go.
  15. GTR wins drag, circuit, etc etc etc. GTO is significantly heavier than a GTR. The later versions got better but still not worth it in the long run.
  16. yep as said above. There are no auto 260RS'.
  17. Yer sounds like a mint supra
  18. o_O Safc is super airflow converter. It alters the AFM signal to the ECU. So you can tune fueling and AF ratios. Basically, more power. Didnt realise there were such gangsta mods for VL commos haha. vl turbos are pretty rare over here.
  19. werd. What sort of valve is making that sound? Plain old SSQ or is it no valve?
  20. no, safc doesnt lose settings when power is lost. It will reset when you use the initialize command.
  21. Good stuff, its about 90kg lighter than the 4wd version and has less driveline loss so its a bit more nimble :] The suspension setup is different on the front though.
  22. same as mine with a different wing and colour! RWD is it?
  23. Thats pretty much the going rate for stageas over here. There must be huge markups/costs involved in getting them into Aus?
  24. I have also heard that the Iridium ones tend to blast to pieces at higher loads and to use coppers instead. I have 0.8 coppers with no trouble at all.
  25. http://english.auto.vl.ru/catalog/nissan/stagea/ all you need to know.
