  5. Hey guys welcome to my car's build diary i will be updating this thread with the progress of my beloved GT-R. Having previously owned a VL Turbo, VS Clubsport, Z32 TT 300ZX and a 2-door WRX STi it was time for me to get back into the car scene after 5 year absence. I started looking at JZA80 Supra's and FD RX-7's.. During my search i didnt look at getting a Skyline as i wasnt a fan of the Sykline or GT-R because i was vivid and hardcore GC8 STi fan boy lawl. At the time my friend had a 300kw R32 GT-R (HKS GTS-S) he came past to pick me up after he had registered the car in Victoria. I was quiet impressed with its performance but it still failed to convince me and sway me from my STi fan-boism. After a huge drunken party i slept over his house and in the morning i needed a car to get home so he thew the keys and told me i could take his GT-R home and back to his. This is when i was coverted, snapped out of my fan-boism or what ever you want to call it. After i drove that car i KNEW i had to get a GT-R specially a R32. I was lucky enough to jump into 32/33/34 GT-R before i purchased my car and out of the 3 the R32 GT-R felt the best and gave me the most excitement plus IMO its the best looker out of the 3. So 1 year of hard work and searching for the right GT-R a certain R32 GT-R caught my eye especially the interiror, i was so impressed that i immediately called up Shane and arranged a day for me to fly down to Adelaide. I ended up buying the car and driving it back to Victoria.. and i gotta say it was one of the best drives ive ever had! The car is modified to nearly exactly the way i want, Shane concentrated on all of the aspect of the car and not just straight line performance. Under my ownership the car will be pushed to its max with its current -5 set up. Then i will be going down the single turbo route, cant wait for it!   12. Like the rest above have said for 350kw GTS-S or -7's are more than enough. Unless you want to go for 400+ kw with or without E85 (id1000 jectors etc) on -5's. Most guys seem to be obsessed with PFC.. its good bang for buck but its REALLY outdated.. if your going to spend money on your car you might aswell spend abit more coin and get yourself a HALTECH.
  13. Please do mate! Seems like we are bothi doing the same thing. I also have HPI dumps, 3.1 front pipes (Non Ti) currently on the hunt for a cat-back and i will be going for my E85 tune.
  14. With the piping going smaller wouldnt that cause a bottle neck in your exhaust flow? Especially if your after big power? Im currently looking at getting this aswell but i dont want any bottle neck's in my set up.. I'll be running 20+psi and will be looking at trying to max out my -5's on E85.

  17. I didnt know that they are a JAP rip off, thats a shame really.. the exhaust sounds so good. Called up ET and they quoted me nearly 1k for a full 3.5inch custom made exhaust with the JUN BL muffler.. mind you they quoted me that price for a semi stainless steel. I think im going to bite the bullet and pay a few more hundred dollars and get my self the 3.5inch Tomei Ti cat-back exhaust.

  19. Glaze no offense mate but you have no frigging idea. A mint R32 GT-R which has been rebuilt like this go for atleast 24+ k so please dont talk crap when you have no idea about prices when it comes to mint R32 GT-R's. I got my GT-R for 25k not to long ago.

  22. The exhaust is stainless steel. I absolutely love the way my JUN exhaust sounds and i definitely want to keep it. I havent been able to find any 3.5" JUN cat-back systems and if i do its most liley going to be way overpriced The exhaust that im going to get made up is also going to be stainless steel aswell thats if i do depending on if i find a JUN BL cat-back.
