    Sorry i meant Tony C, was interested in taking the later race for the Taxi's. I know there was talk for 2x 1 hour evening races for the GT's at the clipsal next year (would be the premier national GT race) but that was after a few pints so imaginations could have been running.

    So far this year there have been 1 hour races at each round (EC was 2 X 1 hour) The Clipsal night race was a great event, on the friday night (at the pub) there was already some deals being made as Tony C from V8 land expressed interest after seeing the race under lights for the 2012 event.

    Tony Quinn has bought the Australia GT series. http://www.speedcafe.com/2011/06/15/australian-gt-sell-management-rights/ Good time to start a Aussie GT thread. with new cars due through out 2011 and at the start of 2012. At this stage there is: 3 x Ferrari 458 GT3 1 Nissan GT-R GT3 Rumoured: 1 x McLaren Mp412C GT3 With the Audi, Merc SLS, Lambos, Porsches, Moslers and Astons 2012 is starting to build up

    Was kind of glad to see the 74 Vette out, as a mate was driving in the 73 Vette that won The Robertson Racing result was great for the small outfit considering the lack of pace in qualifying. Nissan 1 & 2 in LMP2

    Good to see my mates avioded the carnage, got up and read 2 458's were involved in heavy crashes and was hoping it wasn't Al's car. My other mate is sitting in 16th overall (3rd in class) Nissans Running 1 & 2 in LMP2

    Heard this morning Mr Quinn has ordered a GT3 GT-R, then again was discussing the Quinn's last week with one of the Lambo teams crew chief who informed that the Quinn's have also ordered a McLaren MP4 12C GT3, guess only time will tell if either come through. Both Allegedly will be competing in the Bathurst 12 Hour.

    Yeah, great weekend to Launch the car, did a 1.30 on the friday before they placed the restrictions on, which was looking good until the Lambo in Prod Sports set a 1.28 with Allan Simonsen behind the wheel. Hopefully with the Bathurst 12 Hr regs changing next year to full FIA GT3 regulations that we are able to have less restrictions placed on the cars in the national series.

    I was going to take a pic of my spirits but that would be cheating as i get the mine delivered by the case for work speaking of which will be getting a delivery tomorrow

    Unfortunately not, I did all the initial art work with different sponsors (Rocking Angel which is our Bourbon). It only got the call up to allow it to run at the last minute so they got the vinyl cutter to put something on, especially after they did the whole chrome wrap on the car
