i noticed it on the way over, it could have been doing it a while i just don't drive enough to notice (long straight roads anyway) not that fun when i went to grab a drink and the car starts to drift off the road when it should be driving straight. not the most comfortable seats for long drives

usual the parts that come in for me are connected to the car (only organize shipping and ordering of whole vehicles). Most part interpreter positions are after someone who has done an apprenticeship in it or have experience.

yeah that nearly 1/5th of my annual Km's and i might be heading up to QLD in the next week or so and that'll add a lot more pretty well, i flushed the oil and radiator ect before i left so i wasn't to worried. It might need a wheel alignment as it pulls to the left when the wheel is straight have to wait to i get a new job

was pretty happy with the economy of my car today 608Km's out of a tank. Would have been better if the ultimate was $160+ in the middle of nowhere down side is the car is pinging due to the crappy unleaded that went into it. I think i need to flush it out and run some good stuff in there now i'm back in civilization bit sad that my 33 is my daily and i have done 26000Km's over the past 3 years and have done 2000 in the last 4 days

no.... you have to wait until the pit stops to make a pass. after all if you make contact you will either get a black flag or be called a cheat by the spectators (who are the ones crying for passing) think i'll stick to watching the sportscars and sports sedans

honestly not 100% sure. I have been working in stock control (ordering new vehicles from factory and organizing tints ect for the customers) and licensing (transport SA agent in dealership doing all rego related documents ect). This is pretty well much my entire working experience, unfortunately so i have no customer relation experience -- which is really hurting it seems I have looked into some apprenticeship ect but at this stage are looking for something than can help (financially) move up there

got a few phone calls to some mates to make tomorrow then i will see what happens. then i'll jump on the seek ect to have a look. I have a small incoming coming in on the side to cover me for a little while but not enough to cover moving there and car payments ect.

ok geoff, i'll look into it after posting this up earlier i have spoken to a few people in Noosa to get the ball rolling and when i get back to Adelaide i will put a few phone calls to the people i know up on the GC. Hopefully i will be able to set something up pretty soon. I was naive / dumb enough to leave my job on the promises of the people in Melbourne and now find myself with out a job and desperately wanting a change of location. and having a quick look around the housing is much cheaper on the GC over Melbourne as well :laugh:

Hey All, I'm considering moving up to the gold coast area, What are the job opportunities like for some one who doesn't have a trade? I have been working in the automotive industry ( Registration licensing and stock control for the past 4 years) I have been looking in Melbourne and have had nothing but head aches and people screwing me around. I'm looking for a change in lifestyle, as i have been pretty unhappy recently living in Adelaide.

unfortunately all the support categories have new drivers and semi professional drivers (look at eth GT series only 1 profesional driver and the cars go around turn 8 with out lifting).

its surprisingly smaller than what i thought it would be. I had always imagined it quite a bit larger (due to always hearing how big the motor is, the large amount of radiators ect)

it will only be on display from friday the 29th to sunday the 2nd
