  1. i think next year i have to sweet talk my way onto the grid, the girls on there seem more willing to pose than the ones walking around
  2. better not laugh to much in the middle of moving there. And i better stop making comments about people like Mr Smith you never know who knows who the Gallardo GT3's exhaust system is a work of art, i'll try and get photo's next weekend at sandown
  3. tell me about it, i've been running around for 4 days like a headless chook, why can't they put the GT's, Biante masters and Carrera Cup close to each other? they're not very considerate of me
  4. bored and tired, planning on where i'm going to stay in Melbourne until i can find a house
  5. and here i was thinking you were a victorian
  6. UTE ACCIDENT another driver in critical condition, not a good weekend for crashes
  7. i lost a lot of respect for lowndes this weekend, and even more so with Mezera for not intervening as the drivers standards officer, Frosty had a lot to say yesterday about the standards being set so i can't wait to see what he says about today incident
  8. Heard some news through Glenn Seton this morning that Ash Cooper may not make it through. At the request of the family and V8SCA there has been a tight media hold on the drivers condition to respect the family. not to good, expect an announcement in the next day there was a minutes silence at the track today for him
  9. i can tell you the GT drivers had the same comments about the crowds in Adelaide and can't wait to get to the more civilized/cultured crowds in Melbourne at the GP. The fact that they were all walking past ignoring the 400K+ cars to look at the utes. looks like it was the panel work burning, probably set fire to itself whilst backfiring
  10. My mate had the ECU reset and had the software reinstalled 3 times over the 4 days. I like the ferrari dash read out, very classy in red and black, then you walk up to the historic's that still have these funny dial things on the dash to show them how fast they are going during the race this morning one of the 430's ECU shut down and they had to restart it, once they did that the car went into limp home mode which wasn't very good during a race.
  11. i have the sudden urge to get my car tinted. found some brakes for you Andrew, Carbon Ceramic ones for the 34???? only 13k PER DISK!!!!! and they only last 2 rounds under racing conditions. Was also a bit speechless to find out the 430 is running a special exhaust system which cost 40K
  12. not used to the other format VIC plates that all. I thought they were the NSW premium plates. My bad
  13. Andrew / Nightcrawler has some photos of the CCR. Can't see the slight damage on the rear quarter in these pics http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=3670364
  14. yeah Peters name was on the information about the car. for some reason i thought the 599 had NSW plates (should have looked clearly) the veyron only stretched it legs down the straight, I'm sure the sigt of a spinning 858 infront of it as it came into the chicane was enough to make him drive slowly though the corners. couldn't believe the amount of dick heads in the crowd cheering and clapping when it spun into the wall.
  15. been having a look at some ferrari 430 software this weekend. Some pretty in depth stuff there. Unfortunately it had a mind of its own and seemed to take control of the car. in qualifying it was controling the brakes when it wanted to brake (not that helpful down the straights when the cars brakes are locked on) and the in the races it decided that it would go into neutral instead of the gear it was meant to - see what happens when you rely to much on computers..... it makes you ferrari slow!!!!! oh and i found the laptop i want, the Lamborghini Asus specially developed to work with the Gallardo software and diagnostic tools. it has a sexy carbon outer case with the raging bull embossed into the top
  16. that doesn't sound promising not good that 2 of the 11 cars ended up damaged (pitty it wasn't any of the Lamborghini Melbourne cars instead, i wouldn't be to upset if Mr Smith had to fix his up) After talking with Mark for a while i found out it is his / raftis 599
  17. depend where you stay and who you know to get tickets from. speaking to David Richards the other day they are still not happy they are being stopped from running the ex McLaren Chassis. Williams are still the biggest campaigners against Prodrive. But i'm guessing being Berrnie which ever side has the most money will get their way
  18. well the same issues with breaking Dampners has appeared in 3 out of the 4 Walkinshaw cars today. Skaife and Tander were lucky it didn't go where it did in dumbrels (full speed into turn 8) as the car has suffered substantial damage
  19. a couple more shocking accidents today, the ute crash was really bad i hope the remain driver in hospital is alright. Heard some news through Glenn Seton this morning that Ash Cooper may not make it through. At the request of the family and V8SCA there has been a tight media hold on the drivers condition to respect the family. Pitty the Keonigsegg found the wall today (the damages would be worth more than the ute crash) the car seemed very unstable under heavy acceleration out of the corners nearly spinning a couple more times. Andrew that would have been just down from you when it caught fire yeah
  20. spotted a rather second hand looking CCR today, James i hope it isn't to badly damaged, looked like some panel damage and i hear there was a fire in the engine bay. The car looked very unstable coming out of a few of the corners
  21. yeah lee it was a good result, it would have been better if the FPR car won and didn't have that wanker hit him out the way. Looks like thats the only way he is able to pass the prodrive cars as he had to hit Richards out the way as well. Spoke to David Richards yesterday the boss and founder of prodrive nice chap Ash your a lucky boy , ran into dan this morning sounds like they are enjoying themselves
  22. walking past the end of the GT paddock towards the gold area
  23. spotted this in adelaide even been allowed to stretch its legs down the straights (luckily it hasn't copied the porsche 959 and end up in the concrete walls )
  24. lee i saw you walking past today i would have called out but i was talking to someone at the time (the owner of the 599 in the exotic display and the coopers 430GT3 not that i want to name, names ) nice ones andrew, you been to the "fashion" parade??? droped past today and enjoyed the sights
  25. not after todays effort Benm
