Well its a sad day for GT fans (at least me) Bernie has succeeded in stopping Mr Ratels beast from coming to Australia. They have been replaced with the carrera cup cars

so which bbq is happening? the sunday breaky one or another one?

We may have to wait a couple of weeks for the full announcement. Aparently Bernie Ecelstone isn't happy with this. He and Stephane Ratel (owner of FIA GT series) don't see eye to eye. Bernie doesn't want the GT3 cars to support his series. Event organisers are back in negotiation. hopefully they can sort this out

from what i hear 25 cars will be coming from Europe. I know of at leat 5 430 GT3's here in Australia. As well as the 997's from the carrera cup. Team Lamborghini Australia have also bought 2 Gallardo's to compete over here. There is some talk of a SA based team with a Z06 corvette and an Australian DBRS9....... Looks like the sports cars are going to be getting bigger over the next few years

nah it all need replacing i also have to get the exhaust manifold fixed which they will be doing at the same time. I need to start saving gonna cost me a few pennies

don't know if i can make a cruise. got cooling problems with the 33 won't have the money until next year to fix her up so won't be doing many miles or hard driving until then so if theres a cruise i may have to catch a rdie if anyone has a spare seat

I'm not sure what colour it is it hasn't gor much paint followed a pair of 32's down happy valley drive this arvo saw the phantom "nightcrawler" 34 sedan at marion today. Had different wheels, and may have been dark blue it was under cover so i couldn't really tell. I have seen a blue one around a few times

No not yet there are to many differences between the series. the MC12 from the GT1 entered in the series but the team was scrapped after the car was alot slower than the Super GT cars. the Mc12 is 620hp and the 350Z is only 450hp the aero is the main difference. The Endless 350 Z tested for GT3 homologation but for some reason didn't get the green light.

The GT's have a different style of racing. The Aston, Corvette and some of the other big cars have 520+hp and eat the smaller cars like the 997 and Maserati (about 450hp) down the straigh but loose time through corners and under brakes. It make great close racing. as for the 427 this is a FIA event, there will be no way in hell Stephane Ratel will allow those inbred mongrels to run. The 427 is an joke and never should have been able to run. It was Holden money that got it entered. During the season the 420hp 360 ran all over the Monaro when it had the weight balast and restrictors on it. The 24 hour races they removed all of these and still only managed to qualify 2nd to JB in 2002

Next year at the GP the FIA are planning on shipping the FIA GT3 cars over to do 4 support races. The cars that will be coming over include Aston Martin DBRS9 Lamborghini Gallardo GT3 Ferrari 430 GT3 Porsche 997 GT3 Mosler Mt900R GT3 Ascari KZR1 Corvette Z06 Dodge Viper Competition Coupe Jaguar XKR Maserati Grandsport There may be a couple of Australian Teams joining the field depending on car specifications.... Should be GREAT

I could have got some silver tint but it would have cost alot more than i paid Some of the guys at wynns can do some great tint jobs. i'll try and get some pictures of our tinters car when he gets it back. he has silver tint with flames cut out and red tint for the flames

Finally got my car tinted today.... looks good i think with darkish tint also had a wash and wax
