what work is needed to bolt up the gearbox to a RB30det VL??? Postage cost to sydney 2166? cheers

I heard the Non turbo rb30 pistons have less rings or sumting like that.. and dont cope with boost very well... wen i was gonna turbo my rb30e, i was being told that the compression had to be lowered a fair amount from 9.0:1 to around 7 or 8:1 to stop pinging and detonation... Why is it ok for a hybrid motor to have higher compression ratios? wont it ping/knock its tits off?? Jimbo
