  1. uhuh. nothing is illegal. At least.... not until you get busted doing it.
  2. From this thread: (appears to "resemble" something being organised)
  3. Well.... the simple answer to that, is don't go around hitting other peoples cars, and there won't be a problem. Not everyone is in a position where they can afford car insurance, life insurance, home and contents insurance, or private health insurance. That "may not make sense" to you, but you're obviously in a position where you have enough money to sustain a certain type of life-style on your income. It's just an unfortunate fact of life, that not everyone is as lucky as you.
  4. Good to see that the forums are being used to organise illegal activities.
  5. I have (on many occassions) asked people about security devices which were in use when their cars were stolen. Most people are unwilling to answer. This leads me to believe that the majority of cars which are stolen simply aren't secure. It stands to reason that if you have your car stolen, you would want to help other people, by letting people know what sort of measures they need to take to protect their own vehicles.
  6. All the immobilisers in the worlds won't stop someone who is determined to steal you car from coming along and plonking it on a trailer.
  7. This thread is a lovely shopping list.
  8. I would like someone clarify what a "hoon" is? I can't find the word in any dictionaries.
  9. This thread was started 6 days ago......... If the car hasn't been found yet, it's not going to be found.
  10. If you ring the number, maybe the car will answer? Then it can tell you where it is. It is a bit silly though.... not much point even bothering to post up without some sort of basic information.
  11. er..... rather than jumping on the bandwagon of abuse, you could have read the first post.... other than "yellow 33", the location was the only other thing mentioned.
  12. Advanced Alloy Wheel Repairs 3 Nellbern Rd, Moorabbin ph: 9555 6893
  13. My favourite roads are ones with no other cars on them, where you can travel at the posted speed limit.
  14. hmmm and add to that, that pinging can also be caused by spark plugs which are in the wrong heat range.
  15. Pinging=detonation It's caused when the timing (fuel/air) is too far advanced...it creates an un-even burn in the cylinder, and it can cause pitting on the surface of the pistons. If you want to advance the timing, make sure you use PULP to get the most out of it. There's no need to put the car on a dyno to advance the timing, go buy a timing light and do it yourself.... check what it's set at, advance it a few degrees, go for a drive.. if it doesn't ping, advance it a bit more... ...but as megs said, if it starts to ping, back it off.
  16. mattyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! coming to say hi to us finally? You're staying in South Yarra? Have you got some rich relatives that you've been hiding? Calder is a very long way from South Yarra. Will you have access to a rental car? If you want stuff in and around the city, there's plenty to look at/do around southbank. You also have to go to the casino..... dunno why, it's rather boring, but it's something that has to be done. oh.... and friday/saturday night, there's some sort of law that says if you're in the vicinity of Chapel St, you must go and check out all the hard core pimps doing laps in their fully sik carz.
  17. If you're still running the factory ecu, there is no point to a dyno tune. The ecu constantly tunes itself.
  18. Medical emergencies etc don't give you permission to speed. (Unless you're an ambulance)
  19. Further to that, if you have an at fault accident, your insurance company will disown you. (If you can get insurance at all)
  20. I think I'd want to be wearing gum boots
  21. damn... it's after 3:00. Spewin I missed out, I really do need some practice at urinating my name in snow.
  22. nice one ferni, gee, i wonder which genius type person posted that information?
  23. Contrary to popular belief, body kits don't increase the power output of the vehicle. :headspin: Defectable (EPA) OK providing it's the only intake mod, and is paper element. Defectable, (EPA) all BOV's must be plumbed back. Call Vicroads. They are the ones with all the answers. 131 171 [edit] There is also no need to create multiple threads, and bump threads which are less than 2 hours old. I hope you have more patience behind the wheel than behind the keyboard!
  24. There are a bunch of RB30 wiring diagrams available on the darkhalf section of the R31 site. You will find pinouts for RB motors in the ECU section of the R31 tech info.
