Melbourne? Whats with the EPA and the Police - discuss here
SKY031 replied to Starionturbo's topic in Victoria
*Applause* -
Check the links in the "welcome to vic" thread. If you want to paint your helmet, take into account that it may not pass pit inspection. Paint/stickers etc can cover up cracks which would render the helmet useless in an accident, and some venues won't pass a helmet if it is painted. (especially if the safety standards sticker has been removed in order to paint it)

Sorry Rezz, but somehow I've become the instigator when all I've been trying to do is explain something which is rather black and white, so I'm going to quote Ghostrider one more time... just for old times sake. So as you can see, I was only acting on his request. Unless of course it was a rhetorical question to begin with. .....and to the people who think Ti's are slow, we have at least 2 Ti's (RB30ET) here in Victoria which are pulling low 12 - high 11 1/4 mile times, with all electrics intact.

settle down pete..... if this isn't resolved soon we're going to have to have a jelly wrestling match to sort it out.... save your "toilet breaks" until then anyhoo...... tomj is your car still for sale? Last i heard it was on the market again. Don't love her and leave her, love her some more before you go your seperate ways! If you sell it you'll be haunted with thoughts of "what if?"

It is a lot of fun... i think that people are too scared to reply because it isn't a very macho game

I've been trying to keep out of this, but it's apparent it's not going to go away. ghostrider, you say that i'm the one who started war, but that's not the way it is. You threw down the gauntlet when you belittled another member by using the "why bother" comment. The question you should have been asking, is "why bother having 3 NA RB30 Skylines?" and if that was what you had asked, it would have become clear in that one sentence exactly WHY cazz is turbocharging one of her cars. She never said she was replacing the current motor with an RB30ET, she said she is turbocharging her current motor. (RB30e+t is more powerful than a factory RB30et motor, due to the higher compression ratio in the RB30e, which throws your Holden quoted number of 150kw out the window.) There are plenty of reasons that people modify their cars, and what people choose to do to their car is UP TO THEM! If you don't like it, then you don't have to start with the keyboard warrior rubbish.... take some advice from Ronan Keating... "you say it best when you say nothing at all" Link? but then you come out with something like this: Very mature indeed.

I GOT THE EGG! It took a lot of persistance and a lot of swearing, but I got it. *YAY*

So........ does anyone else like this little purple dragon? I have all the Spyro games, I got given "A Hero's Tale" for christmas, and I'm just over half way through it. I was wondering if anyone has any tips on the "pole spinning"? I need to get to an island which is high up in order to rescue a dragon egg, but I'm so frustrated at the pole spinning that I had to take a break. I'm not sure if I like the way they have laid this game out, it seems a lot more confusing than the previous games, and I had major problems understanding the map (& key) ... I tried consulting the book, but it was no help at all. It was just a matter of having to wing it. (haha... geddit... wing it.... um... OK.. that was really lame.) I figured the map out, and now I know what I'm doing, so it's just a matter of persistance I guess. I know this game is aimed at children, but I have a mental age of around 6, so it suits me just fine

Please help!!!!!! GEARBOX
SKY031 replied to imperium's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
These guys might be able to help you out with some better info than what you'll get here. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/ -
um Well I happen to agree with the comment. When people do midifications to cars which affect the structural integrity and other safety features, I would consider that a problem. Every week there are new threads where people complain about being defected for safety reasons. I don't see a problem with defective vehicles being taken off the road.

uh..... why would that happen?

Check the "welcome to vic" thread... there is a link to a list of wreckers/importers etc.

Welcome to every day of my life. As many people know, I live in Springvale. This area has the largest amount of fatalities in the state. Just when you think you've seen someone perform the most unbelievably stupid and dangerous manouvre, someone else has to come along and top it.

Calder Park charge $55 -generally you can only get a few runs in because it's always PACKED. Drift sessions - $100 Open practice - $165 Heathcote (drags) costs around $40 (depending on the size of the group, or type of meet)

OK... I guess I must be missing something. I wasn't trying to bait anyone, and I'm sorry if I made anyone cry, but apparently I'm missing the point here, so someone explain it to me.

Hand out some warnings Jason, if they spoke to anyone else in this manner they would be banned by now.

When I was a young teen, it was cool to smoke. If you wanted to be cool, that was what you did. Now if you want to be cool, all you have to do is drive fast. In the end it's all the same. If you need to show off to your mates in order to be "cool", you're probably going to end up dead. I have a lot of respect for a P plater in a nice car who can take off from the lights without tyre squeal, but in 10+ years of driving, I can't say I've seen this happen very often. IQ tests & regular licence re-testing for all. Anyone with an IQ under 120 shouldn't be able to drive. There is more common sense than skill involved in driving, and the people who lack basic common sense should be kept off the road.

Considering that the motor in question here is an RB20, and you're asking about an RB25, i highly doubt it. Check this thread for more info.

You are my prefered target, because you are disillusioned about the power of a GTS2. Facts are this. There is no way that a motor built to GTS2 spec has a power output greater than an RB30ET. (or RB30e+t) The info i pasted (oh shock horror, imagine using the internet for research purposes!) came from www.dictionary.com ...but if you pasted the words into google, you would have found that out. It doesn't bother me a bit if people want to resort to name-calling.... I left primary school behind a long time ago. (unlike some people) P.S, If you want to quote people, learn how to use the quote function.
Text goes in here, it's not rocket science.
Most of the mods that people want to do can't be engineered. ECU BOV aftermarket cooler & pod etc.

Motor bikes & trucks are subject to different EPA rules than cars.
