  1. Did you read this bit? Basically it says if it's not on the list, then it's not a legal modification. Modifications made in accordance with this Guide are considered to be approved modifications. However, where this guide requires the modification to be the subject of an Approval Certificate, the modification is not approved until the Approval Certificate has been accepted by VicRoads. In addition, any modification not included in this Guide will generally require an Approval Certificate.

  4. Very nice...... you're not in the South East are you? I've seen one similar getting around these parts.
  5. The most important thing is to find out if it's dot 3 or dot 4, beyond that, it's pretty much all the same stuff. Nissan are reasonable clever, so it's probably the same as your brake fluid. (Do you know what sort of brake fluid you have?)

  15. There are 2 other fittings on the other side of it.
  16. I reckon it saves a lot of headaches, and in the long run, he'd be saving a HUGE amount of money. If you add up the amount of money that it costs to do all the "fully sik" mods to a car, it comes to a small fortune. If you buy a car that has already had everything done to it, there's no need to spend any more $$ on it.
  17. We are currently compiling service details for all the different NA motors. As far as oil/fuel filters go, you will find the part numbers in books at y our local auto parts store. When you bring the parts home, add the part numbers to our list here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=39760
  18. yeah.... it was posted in the Wasteland this morning http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=46694
  19. Keeping the engine bay clean is more than just a cosmetic thing.. if you have any oil (or any other fluid) that starts to leak, it makes it a lot easier to pinpoint where its coming from. It also makes the motor much nicer to work on, than if everything is clustered with grease and oil and dirt all smooshed into everything
  20. I've added the details into the weblinks/ performance shops/ importers exporters thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ad.php?p=254645 I'll keep adding them as they pop up.
  21. Imagine how awesome this little gem would look sitting in your boot all polished up.... someone must want it!

  25. It's not "just another car wash".... and yes, you will still need to do some minor detailing afterwards, but nothing apart from water and foam touches the car. The laser wash not only cleans the car, but it also cleans UNDER the car too! As you're driving into it, you drive slowly over high pressure jets that clean up underneath the car, then it tells you when to stop, so you stop, it soaks the car in hot foamy stuff, then it soaks again, then it rinses, and it does all this other kewl stuff (depending on how much you pay) I just run my car through the basic $7 wash, but if you're on your way out somewhere, and you want the car clean without spending heaps of time washing it before you go out, its a great option. You cant use it as the 'only' option, because there are some bits it just cant get to, deep hollows in mags etc, but as for the paintwork, it leaves it spotless, and a few minutes driving dries up all the drips. Oh yeah.... and you need to brake lots when you come out of there... because the brakes get very wet and the first time you go to brake, the brakes don't want to work.... but that's the only set back, and it goes away when the brakes dry out. :headspin:
