well..... according to your profile, you don't even have a car.... so come back when you do, and we'll hang shit on your car. I imagine that the excel is very economical to run.

There are the boot badges, and if you have a Ti there is also the bonnet badge. The only problem with removing the badges, is the fact that the cars are very old, and the paint underneath the badges has never seen the sun. You will find that once you have removed the badges, there will be visible oxidisation of the paint around the area... and the paint under the badges is pristine. This can probably be fixed with a cut and polish (haven't tried it yet!) I removed all of my badges from the boot, Ti, 3.0, NISSAN SKYLINE- and the Ti badge from the bonnet. The boot isnt too bad, but the bonnet has a really shiny rectangle where the Ti badge used to be. (I guess the top of the bonnet gets more sun than the rear of the bootlid)

What colour is the car? I like the blue pic the best

as you can tell, im no artist, but i felt sorry for you because nobody replied.... i figured if i made a really bad attempt at it, that someone would come along to show me how crap my skills are, and as a result you will end up with the picture that you want!

Just because they were the ones that were in there, doesn't mean they're the right ones. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=32825

This is very state specific, you may be better posting it in the WA section... I've never heard of needing a permit to change your exhaust... and i thought that Victoria was tight with modification laws!!

OH nice thread Horus! SKY031 waits for all the "mines_datsun" replies You said "Vic specific".... does that mean that the people we want to meet should be in Victoria? Victorians are boring the 2 people that i would most like to meet live 1/ interstate & 2/ overseas. I would have to say either Squizz or Rezz reasons why.... I've been talking to Squizz for years, (pre-SAu ) and he'd probably get upset if i didn't list him Rezz... I want to look through all his photos and ask "what's this?" "what's this?" "What does this do?" "What does this say?" etc etc The photos that I see posted in the "Japan" section are amazing, and i just love looking at them...it's an insight into something that i just wouldnt be able to get anywhere else.

Try not to use the stereo when the car is off if possible
-
er..... those plugs are for an RB30..... you might want to try using the right plugs I don't know what year your car is, check the list here to find the right plugs, then go and smack the person that sold you the ones that you currently have.

Nobody has even mentioned tyre pressure yet You say that you had them balanced 10,000k's ago, that is a long time. It's quite possible that you've lost one (or more) of the lumps of lead attached to the rims. It's very common for them to just fall off, you only need to take a walk down the street and look in the gutter to see how many bits of lead get thrown off. myr332 your discs probably need machining.

Really? That's a new one, I haven't heard that before. There's nothing on the VicRoads website that even hints at aftermarket ECU's being illegal.

I was going to suggest you tried SDU forums... but I see you already have. If you get hold of them let me know, i'll grab a copy too. -
Nice mullet...... are there any bogans in Japan?

Driver came into irc chat and asked the same question, and my response was the same as ferni's.... with an analogy that "it's the same as asking us 'why is my room dark' and then not telling us how many lights are in the room, or how many watts the globes are" In order to diagnose this problem, we need to know the following: 1/ What sort of sub 2/ What sort of amp 3/ What sort of car battery

It seems unusual for water to travel in an upward direction... take the rubber seal off the boot, and give the rubber a good clean, check that there is no rust (unlikely, but the car may have been smashed and repaired) then clean the area that the seal sits on, then put the seal back. Also check around the tail lights. I find it unlikely that the water is coming "up" from the bottom... it's more likey that it's coming in from above and settling in the areas you mentioned.

OK... I think this has gone on long enough. JiVE I understand your anger, but it doesn't justify racist comments. To carry on the way these people did is inexcusable, but an idiot is an idiot regardless of their ethnicity. Every race has morons. Thread is now locked.

Seriously, you all need to get over yourselves. Let him do what he wants to his car. If people laugh, then so be it. People laugh at my car, (no i dont have washer LEDs) I've dressed it up the way that I want it, and I honestly couldn't give 2 hoots what anyone else thinks. If someone wants to put washer LEDs on their car, then let them. ...at least we'll have something else to talk about when he comes back and starts a thread titled "Why was I defected?" :headspin:

You might have to travel a bit... i don't know of any over this way.

So true...... If you get all this footage you're after, then I hope you won't be filming any Skylines Australia stickers on peoples cars, or putting the words Skylines Australia on the video anywhere if it portrays street racing. This is the kind of image and stereotype that we're trying to get away from.

According to the thread here a few people in Melb are involved with them. However, as you said, the site doesn't seem to exist at the moment. See if you can get any info from the guy who owns the exclusive site. Shaun C Phone: 03 3874 8732 Phone: 0412 828 222 Email: [email protected]

Hi John.. wow R31 forums are down.. what a suprise anyhoo...... Unique Autosports can import things straight from R31 house, however, they tack on about 30%+ commission. Hioutput a few things which are in constant demand are projector style headlights, circa 1986 hotplates & rear garnish, front struts/rotors/calipers (from the turbo models) and if someone is able to get hold of stuff, I need a Passage rear spoiler... not the GTS-X variety, but the one that looks similar to the aus spec GTS.

Be thankful that they only took a camera and a game. They could have taken the car. Alarms aren't fool proof, and in public places most people prefer to ignore an alarm rather than turn their head in the direction that the noise is coming from, because it's easier to not get involved. Take some responsibility here.... we're all aware of what goes on in the world we live in. You should never leave valuables in a car, ever. A "quiet street" is a perfect place for Joe Criminal to go breaking into cars... there's less chance of being disturbed. If they looked through the window and didn't see anything of interest, they would have moved onto the next car. Chalk it up as a learning experience.
