You admitted in the very first post that you entered the intersection on a red light. If you didn't enter the intersection, the camera wouldn't have gone off. If you moved into the intersection far enough to cause the camera to go off, you were placing yourself (and any oncoming traffic) in danger. You may have been concerned about being rear ended, but it was still a red light. The law is pretty much black and white. Let us know how you go

If you have access to a capture card, i have HEAPS of video. R31/SAu drag day, other R31 events, drags, cruises, film shoots...... not sure of how much footage im prepared to part with, but i'm sure we could negotiate. I also have digital video from the drift day.

Moving the air filter to a more suitable location would help too.

sounds like you've had this done before..... generally its not a good idea to cut and polish too often, cutting compounds remove the clearcoat and once the clearcoat has been cut back too far, you're looking at a full respray.

well...... i certainly wouldn't consider myself to be 'hot' :throwup: But that wasn't the original issue... it seems the original issue was 'can they handle the power' well...... just because a car has the capability of going fast, doesn't mean it has to be driven fast. Most roads have speed limits, and if you don't obey the speed limits, you get fined, lose points, and ultimately lose your licence. So unless it's being driven on the track, power issues barely even come into it. This isn't about the power of the vehicles, it's about an ego trip, and some guys just don't like the idea of a woman driving a car thats faster than theirs. ......but from this thread, it seems that most guys find it a turn on when chicks drive fast/nice cars. So if your mum wants to buy a $60,000 GT-R to go and pick up the shopping, then i say....... "GO FOR IT MUM!" :) :)

Your best bet is probably to try and find a reconditioned silhouette lsd. I know that isn't much help, but there aren't a whole lot of options available.

I FOUND IT!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so glad that saying that makes you feel better Tony. Yes, my car is NA, yes, its auto, but they didn't make manual Ti's, and i'm not about to drive around in a base model car, i enjoy my power windows and all the other little luxuries that a top of the range car has. Having said that, my other half owns a manual turbo, and i drive that, so i guess that means i'm not a total loser. I think you'll find that there is a massive amount of male drivers who also drive auto NA Skylines. I guess that means they must all be girls too? I mean.... what are they doing driving a "girls car"? Thats almost as repulsive as putting GTR badges on a GTS. SHAME SHAME SHAME :kick:

The reason that this thread wasn't locked, was because there was no initial "bagging out" of workshops. It was a simple request of someone needing information. It's now at the stage where there are too many opinions, and too much speculation being thrown around. If there are ongoing problems, please take it up with each other personally, or deal with it in small claims court. Locked.

Also check that the radios are repeater capable. If the radios dont have a duplex function, then theres a jolly good chance that what you're paying for is (contrary to what the adverts say) "just a toy"
