  1. Well, try looking at it this way, if you don't have enough money for an 'unjustified' timing belt change, then you certainly don't have the money to fix things when the timing belt breaks. Deal with it before it becomes a problem. Because if you leave it, it will become a VERY expensive problem.
  2. Also see the Victorian section of the forums, there are a few threads with people recommending workshops.
  3. medium density fiberboard You don't. You can get MDF as thins as 2.2mm. And as far as parcel shelves go, it's the most suitable material, because it's easy to work with, cheap, and not at all heavy, but it is solid.
  4. There are also some pics of the girls which i will scan if i get the time... .........if
  5. My other half does all my polishing. And my metal fabrication, and all the other fun stuff that I can't do by myself. I do the painting and ricing and cleaning. I think it's fine.... as long as you don't mind getting dirty. It's probably not as viable as it sounds. Some things can be an absolute bitch to polish, my plenum has at least 8 hours work in it, and it still isn't perfect. You need to take into account that if something so small takes a whole day to do, will people be willing to pay you a whole days wages just for one little shiny bit?
  6. Gotta show mine off at every opportunity.... Shiny bits!

  14. Yeah that was me. Wow I'm famous I wrote that letter because in the magazine that they gave us with our entry money, there was someone asking for information on Skyline clubs, and the editor (or whoever answers the mail) had refered the person to MCCR. I mean... PUHLEASE!!!!!!!!!! So I emailed them and set them straight. I never heard back from them so I kinda forgot about it.... But maybe that will get us a few new members too.

    R34 Plates

You have heard wrong. I contacted VicRoads just after this rumour started circulating, and was told that it's not going to happen. And riggaP don't be so tight.... Sell the bloody plates. Otherwise they'll never end up on a car. I'm just glad that you weren't greedy enough to take into account the fact that someone would want SKY031 as well.
  16. Thats right, it's just a hunk of plastic. I have clear indicators on my R31. You can't buy them in the shops. And yes, its just clear plastic. Where theres a will, theres a way.
  17. this is sold, can someone stick it in the bin please? ;D
  18. Nismo Clear Indicators Available for most Nissans Nissan Micra Part Number: RN260 R33 & R34 GTR Part Number: RNC40 R33 GTS-T Part Number: RN590 300ZX Part Number: RN850 $120.00 Per Pair (How can you have an import, and complain that $120 is too much??)
  19. A roadworthy certificate is only valid for 14 days. And when I got my roadworthy done, there was no "DB reading" on the checklist of things required for the certificate.
  20. mmmmm........ Passage..... :drooling: Production of the R31 ceased after 91.
  21. I agree with the poll. BUT AREN'T YOU FORGETTING SOMETHING?????? A poll would need to include 30's and 31's, because without these wonderful machines, there would be no 32's, 33's or 34's. :uh-huh:
  22. Compliance is basically just to say that the car meets Australian safety standards. Same as an engineers certificate. Both are issued to say that the car is safe to be driven on the road. The EPA doesn't have anything to do with safety issues, it's a matter of pollution, either air, or noise. And instead of "innocent until proven guilty", with the EPA, you are guilty until you prove yourself innocent.
  23. Skyline wedding and another: If anyone would be desperate enough to want my car, I'd be in it
  24. If your car stereo doesn't go there, then take a portable radio. :uh-huh:
