  1. uh.... if a car is made by Nissan, but wasn't made in Japan, is it still classified as "Japanese in origin" because Nissan is a Japanese company??
  2. It's disturbing that it takes a near tradgedy to make people realise that nobody's invincible. Yesterday I drove to Ferntree Gully, and on the way home there was a woman who had a baby in her car, and she was driving like an absolute maniac... cutting people off, tailgating, speeding, abusing people because they were on 'her' road... If she had collided with any one else on the road, and anything happened to the baby, it would have been on the conscience of the person that she hit. Regardless of who was at fault, nobody would want to know that they took part in the death (or injury) of an innocent baby. There's a time and a place for everything... public roads are simply not the place to play games. pushead there's nothing wrong with driving responsibly..... it just means that you get to keep your licence, while all your mates get done for speeding, and write their cars off, as well as chewing through numerous sets of brake pads and tyres etc etc..... The nicer you treat the car, the longer it will live, and the nicer it will be to you. You may drive like a 'granny', but at least in doing so, you have a greater chance of living long enough to actually be a granny.
  3. Nissan? Seems the obvious place to try.

    DYNO Tuning

SLYWPN, Colin got his RB30ET dyno'd at Good Guys Perfomance centre. He was very happy with the result. Where we went for the R31 dyno day. Contact details: Factory 3/2 Gatwick Road Bayswater Nth 9761-7261
  5. Well..... Buffy took off all her clothes, there was plenty of full frontal nudity, and guess what? YOU MISSED IT! :bahaha:
  6. Today I found myself being the meat in the "Skyline sandwich" I had me, 2 x 33's and a 32 all together.... it was like mini Skyline heaven. I haven't seen any of the cars before, 2 had personalised plates, (I don't know if it's against protocol to mention plates, but if people didn't want to be talked about, then they wouldn't get vanity plates ) There was SXYSKY burgandy 33, FLYR33 blueish green 33 with T-wing, and a black 32 with regular plates. If any of the owners are reading this, then HELLO! I tried to strategically position myself so that the drivers could see my stickers, but I don't know how successful I was.
  7. Mods can be engineered...... but it still doesn't mean that you won't be defected. You can be EPA'd at any time, and an engineers certificate will not get you out of the poo.... you need to prove yourself innocent.
  8. I have 9 that I can see from here, but I think there are a few more stashed away somewhere.
  9. I'm going to get murdered for this, but here's a pic of SLYWPN. (In the white T-shirt)
  10. Running costs depend on how much you drive. You can't ask someone how much they spend on their car each week. It doesnt work like that. You have the cost of petrol. The cost of registration. The cost of anything that needs fixing, replacing, repairing etc. All the things that you need at regular intervals, spark plugs, oil, filters (air, oil, petrol) leads, brake pads, wiper blades, then there are the other things that need replacing, like tyres (expensive things!) and the list goes on. Once you get a car, don't expect to ever have any money ever again. And all those things I listed above, those are expenses that have to come before luxuries, like, lowered springs, window tinting, aftermarket wheels, fluffy dice, neons and all that other crap that people seem to emjoy so much.
  11. Get the plates "TAKUMI"
  12. Ash, those links are broken An Error Has Occurred! The board field does not accept / in the query string

It was %100 the real deal, in fact the pic is still on the camera with shots from a few different angles
  15. I saw it at the cinema.... It was awesome! It can be purchased on CD from Nissan dealers. More info, and a preview can be found here: The run
  16. OK.... I killed a Bluebird..... I left it sitting in the rain... and it rusted to death. :uh-huh:
  17. Went to Brighton Nissan today, here is a picture of what was sitting in their used car section. I know that we had a good giggle at it. Hope you all enjoy this picture. (and the ignorance of the people who can get jobs working at a Nissan dealership)
  18. no..... I was just making that part up. I checked www.dictionary.com and found that the multiple of 'virus' is in fact 'viruses' vi·rus ( P ) n. pl. vi·rus·es But virii sounds better :uh-huh:
  19. pfffff....... my story can beat you all...... my other half killed the hard drive in the pc from downloading virii from pr0n sites.
  20. GTR site? what are you clicking on? click HERE
  21. With the renewed interest in "old school" muscle, why don't you do some articles on the much loved R31's ? They are hugely popular at the moment, and they although they are seen by some people as being a 'family car', they also have the ability to put out some decent power. Because most of these cars are 15 years old, they don't cost an arm and a leg to buy, which leaves more money to modify them.
  22. Money's kind of tight at the moment. You asked me to make an offer, and I did. So has anyone else got one?
  23. The internal wastegate flap can be removed and the external one can be plumbed into your manifold to replace it.
