  1. Which bank do we make the deposits at? I'd hate to make a deposit at the National if you're with Westpac or something......... ~K
  2. I want an SAu t-shirt in.... "tent" size? lol seriously, how big do their sizes go? XXL if they go that big i guess. :Paranoid: Would prefer EFT or cash transaction, PM me with details. Thanx ~K
  3. I'll put in a vote for my plates.
  4. bah to supercharger. For what it costs, it's much easier and cheaper to turbo the car, and ultimately you get more power with a turbo. The supercharger dyno'd at 110kw... rather unimpressive in anyones books. :blah:
  5. I couldn't agree more. And yes, I'd like a set please. I wear an R31 club sticker, and I tell people that if they want to act like idiots, then don't put stickers on the car. People need to realise that when they have a sticker on their car, that they are representing the club every time they get in the car. If you do something stupid, it's attracting negative attention to all of us. On the other side of things, if people see you driving around like a normal "non hoon" type person, it makes the group look responsible, and things like this DO get noticed.
  6. um, power steering is standard on all R31's. Yes, they can go hard. If you like manuals, then don't even bother with a Ti, because they only came out as autos. They are easy to modify, and you get good power gains with minimal mods. Ti and Silhouette both have factory mags and trip computers, and they are pretty good as far as fuel consumption goes. Standard, you should average 450-500k's per tank. I could go on all day, for more info, click the banner in my sig.
  7. We got told on Saturday that MCCR had a bunch of cars knocked back for some reason.
  8. Good effort! Now we just need to get the cars organised. :uh-huh: When should we know if we've had any knock backs? It would be a tad annoying to get cars ready, then find out that they can't be displayed.
  9. If I had dollar for every time I've heard this asked, I'd have about $76 by now. It takes a while for the oil pump to get the oil to where it's needed. If the sound really distresses you, try using a thicker oil. Personally, I wouldn't bother about it. Just don't go hammering the car until the oil has had a chance to work its way around the motor.
  10. ....... and the beast......
  11. Dales 34 (I can't seem to keep the camera away from this car!!!)
  12. Nismoid MK II
  13. Pink bits:
  14. If any of you have UHF's, please bring them, I won't have a booty ho, and although I know some of the streets fairly well, I don't want to get lost. :wavey:
  15. Thank you
  16. More: Additionally, instead of the earlier inline-6 engines, the V35 now boasts 2.5 and 3-litre V-6s, featuring the latest in engine development like E-VTC (Electro-magnetic variable valve timing control - similar to Toyota’s VVT-i) and Nissan’s newly developed direct-fuel-injection for improved responses and better fuel-economy over the previous inline-6 RB-series. All of this tech works out to 215hp and 270Nm for the 2.5L VQ25DD and 260hp/324Nm for the 3.0 litre VQ30DD, making the Skyline’s engines the strongest of its class. Keep the camera in the car.
  17. ? somebody?? [email protected] please and thank you
  18. Me too.... I'll probably get lost, so keep me informed. Email me through the forum email link, or you should have my email addy anyway.
  19. Someone gave me a purple neon the other day, to match my engine bay! :upurs:
  20. Sounds great in theory, but take into account that anything like this would require public liability insurance, and I don't like the chances of any insurance companies jumping at the chance of taking this kind of thing on. We know it's needed, the law knows it's needed, but there just aren't any venues that are suitable for this kind of thing. (Taking into account noise and emissions) If you can get this off the ground, people will back you, but it's going to be a long hard process. Good luck with it, and keep us informed. ~K
  21. I'll look after her for ya. :uh-huh:
  22. Depression goes without saying. People who are content don't try to end thier life. Don't be frightened to approach the subject with your friend... he needs to know that you care, and that you're interested in what is happening with him and what he's going through. Show him some positives, give him something to hold on to that will make his life worth living. Guys seem to have trouble when it comes to 'emotional' stuff, and would prefer to drink (or find a similarly destructive pastime) to escape from reality instead of deal with problems. Things like this need to be discussed rather than brushed under the carpet, because just when you think it's all better, it can get worse; much, much worse. Keep the lines of communication open. And don't try and take this all on your own shoulders, you really need a support network. ~K and Ash, that's a big weight for you to carry. You know that you have a lot of people who care about you and who are happy to listen if you need to talk.
  23. Um, I'm in great need of sleep, but I guess I should do it for the team.... I've kinda been off to the side while all this stuff has been getting organised. Not interested in the dyno run, I did one not long ago, and haven't done any more mods since, but acsplit tells me that I need to turn up to talk to people, so I guess I'm in. See ya's there
