  2. Interesting.... I never knew you could get aftermarket stuff like that for RB30's If you are after specific parts, you are probably better off to make a list of exactly what you need, that way people know exactly what you're after, and will have a better chance of helping you out.:uh-huh:
  3. Whats wrong with the RB30 block? (Lots of RB30 parts for sale on R31 club forums)
  4. oh and another one
  5. ....and i'll show ya this one too.... There are more, but it was a dull and rainy day, so they aren't great pics. 6. I didn't know where to post these, so I thought I'd just start a thread for them. These are some pics I took of Dales sexy beast at the ANTRX dyno day.
  7. yummy.... i want pics as soon as you have them! Is the wagon pillareless? I hafta see this!
  8. Sounds like some TRX owners.... (hehehe) Told us they'd smoke us on dyno day, but their cars couldn't get anywhere near the power figures of the R31's, and they're still making excuses, so now we're organising a drag day just to put an end to the dispute. :burnout:
  9. The Road Safety (Vehicles)(Vehicle Standards) Regulations 1999 S.R. 10. But.... how can you get an accurate readin on the stick, if you move it through gears? It will just splash up the stick. Yes no?
  11. Yep, fuel pump. You will notice it more if you turn the key slowly. If you jump in the car, fling the key into its hole and turn the car over straight away, you wont notice it, but if you leave it on second click for a few seconds, you'll hear it. It should cut out after a few seconds, and if you try to listen for it again, it wont do it, because the fuel is already where it needs to be. :uh-huh:
  12. To all of those who were keeping an eye on this thread, I've cleaned it up a bit. This is an informative thread, don't whore it.
  13. hahaha.... isn't that a bit over the top? Motor at running temp, car in neutral. Wipe stick Put stick back in hole, Read fluid level, Repeat (to make sure that it was accurate) Pffffffff men.... Have to make everything so complicated.
  14. It's got a cup holder! I'd buy it! Nah that's a sexy car! :uh-huh: Gauges are a bit over the top, but I love the blue piping.
  15. /me hugs Squizz It was a tragic thing to have happened, but if he had regained consciousness, his life wouldn't have been worth living. He's in a better place. R.I.P Possum
  16. Possum clings to life 29 April 2003 UPDATED REPORT New Zealand's finest rally driver, Possum Bourne, is clinging to life today as friends and family gather at his Dunedin bedside while his life support is gradually decreased. Possum Bourne Motor Sport general manager Murray Brown told the Waikato Times today he was on his way to Dunedin Hospital and would remain there for "as long as it takes". http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,2437135a11,00.html
  17. YOU MORBID F*CKIN S.O.B's!! He's not dead! /me smax you all (especially gtrken for indulging in such morbid gossip) Possum clings to life 29 April 2003 UPDATED REPORT New Zealand's finest rally driver, Possum Bourne, is clinging to life today as friends and family gather at his Dunedin bedside while his life support is gradually decreased. Possum Bourne Motor Sport general manager Murray Brown told the Waikato Times today he was on his way to Dunedin Hospital and would remain there for "as long as it takes". Bourne has been in an induced coma since suffering massive injuries in a head-on crash near Queenstown on April 18. His family said the brain injury Bourne suffered in the smash was severe. Continuing full life support "is no longer in Possum's best interests". Decreasing Bourne's life support would leave his chances of survival "virtually nil" and it was not known how long Bourne would survive, Mr Brown said. "That's something no one knows, it's anybody's guess." The decision to stop life support was made yesterday by his family with advice from medical staff. The extent and severity of the injury was not fully apparent until last weekend, when ventilation support was decreased. A brain scan yesterday confirmed the severity of the injury. "It was a very difficult decision for everyone, but in the end it is in the interest of Possum," Mr Brown said. "He hasn't been alone the whole time he's been in hospital and he certainly won't be now," he said. Mr Brown said Bourne's family were "understandably very upset". "We're all just numb, but I think we always knew it was going to come to this." Mr Brown said Bourne's family – wife Peggy and children Taylor, Spencer and Jazlin – had been encouraged by a massive outpouring of good wishes by visitors to his website which had received more than 4000 messages. North Canterbury fan Steve Penney said in his message: "Whatever the outcome we will all be with you. You're a Kiwi icon and a real gentleman." Others have written: "Possum, hang in there buddy. You're the man, everyone knows it." Murray Stirling, of Invercargill, said: "Good Kiwis are hard to find but you are one of the best mate. If you have to leave us, go hard and keep the hammer down. You'll need a bloody good set of fog lights up there in the clouds, mate." Mike Barltrop, the driver of the other vehicle involved in the car crash was discharged from Dunedin Hospital last week after undergoing surgery on his left leg.
  18. :bahaha: :bahaha:

  21. Don't be so morbid, he's not dead yet. Sheesh!
  22. Sweet curves? Mines like..... a box...... !
  23. He didn't mention a coupe... just a white R31. It might have been me. In fact, a bunch of us R31'ers went out for a cruise the other night, we went to stop but realised there were some cops around and kept going, but Ryan stopped to get some food. Maybe it was Ryan. He has a white 31, big fmic, could have been him... Or maybe it was acsplit.... or DVSJET Piston muncher, don't come into our world and stir things up. We can live quite nicely without people like you who just want to cause trouble. What the hell is with that comment? Why would you organise an event to happen anywhere other than the place where it was happening? What have you got to hide? Go away and leave us alone.
