  2. The GTS-R belongs to Ash, (aka R31Nismoid in forums)
  3. If your engine bay just needs general cleaning, i have found a great product, which not only works, but it works without having to put in a lot of effort and scrubbing. I use it on EVERYTHING in the engine bay, and also use it on other parts of the car too..... I use it to clean the gunk out of the running boards (if they're called that!) and with the help of a toothbrush and a waterspray bottle, I don't have any desire to use anything else to clean the engine bay. And what is this magic product I hear you ask? It's called "Kenco Shift it"
  4. dAVE: Check out http://www.stuff.co.nz/ Being a NZ newspaper, they seem to have the most up to date info. A hospital spokeswoman confirmed that he remained in a critical condition this morning. And to clear up about the cars, they were a Subaru Forrester and a Grand Cherokee Jeep.
  5. Possum Bourne In Critical Condition 18/04/2003 Kiwi rally ace Possum Bourne is critically ill, after he was involved in a head-on smash near Wanaka. Bourne was driving down the race course after completing reconnaissance for the Race to the Sky event at Cardrona Valley. He collided with a car coming the other way. Both drivers were in normal road cars, travelling around 60 kilometres an hour. Possum Bourne and the driver of the other car were both airlifted to Dunedin Hospital. Hospital staff describe Bourne's condition as critical, but won't given any more details. The other driver has a broken leg. Organisers are now discussing whether to go ahead with the event. Constable Lyn Donaldson of Wanaka Police, says they're carrying out an extensive investigation. The cars are still at the scene. Another press release can be found here. Send his family some good vibes......
  6. um... don't take the air bag away that's just silly.... It's like saying.... "well..... I can't be stuffed putting my seat belt on, so I might as well remove all the seat belts." The steering wheels aren't exactly ugly, so don't stress out about it... it may even save your life one day.
  7. um..... heres another one... you can appreciate how shiny it is from this pic!
  8. OK, fair is fair..... come on SKYLNR I showed you mine, now you show me yours! :shake:
  9. Um... it's a DavePro job That's what men are for. He does the polishing, and I tell him what I want done next. Then I get him to take bits off so that I can paint them. I have the riciest car on SAu.... It's all looks and not much power Oh well.... these things take time.
  10. Shiney bits are on...
  11. I've got a new shiny plenum, that the other half is putting on as I'm typing this (I guess I should go out and help....huh...?) I'll get some pics when it's on.
  12. What a crock, don't do anything wrong, and they can't dick you for anything. Simple.
  13. well..... i hope someone has your number
  14. OK, so set a time, an area,(Jells Park has a lot of BBQ areas) and a list of what people need to bring, IE: meat, utensils, frisbee, etc. and put it all into the first post of the thread.
  15. raven if you are serious about buying, there are a few imports for sale in the R31 forums. um... try looking after 4:00, we're upgrading the forums at the moment, and should be back on line by 4pm today.

  21. Use double sided automotive tape. All car badges are held on with it, it doesn't melt off in the heat, and you can guarantee that some prick will steal your badge one day, it's better to have it stuck there lightly, (as opposed to liquid nails) so they do less damage when they steal it... If you stick it on the grille, and its ultra hard to remove, the person who tries to pinch it will crack the shits and just smash the grille to get it off.
  22. I'll post this info in the R31 forums for you as well.... Is there anything we can look for (identification numbers etc) that may help locate the parts?
  23. It was just a car.... The important thing is that everyone's OK. People see the photos and go OH MY GOD! Because everyone knows how quickly these things can happen. Don't be so hard on yourself. We're all here for you.

  25. I'd like to say 2 things.. Firstly, moderators shouldn't screw with pools. Secondly, why not have 2 seperate cruises? :uh-huh: One for the people on each side of the city. That way everyones happy. Personally, going through the votes, I can see more votes for Dandenong than Coburg. There is no point in having a poll if people are just going to screw with it.
