  2. Hi All, Advertising this for my little brother. HPI SAVAGE X 4.1 Up for sale is my hpi savage x 4.1, I bought it for $900(plus $450+ in options) on it 2 years ago and have not since used it for at least 1 1/2 years ago. Truck has only had about 5-6 tanks of fuel in and I had not even fully broken in the engine yet. Last time I drove the truck I broke the rear diff (crown gear I believe) but it’s only about $15-20 and 5 minutes to change. Apart from that the truck has usual scratches but over all it is in very good condition (a clean wouldn’t hurt). Features the usual such as- alloy diffs, 2 speed transmission, 8 oil filled coil over shocks, TVP (twin vertical plate) chassis, full time shaft driven 4wd, 4.1cc big block engine, 160cc fuel tank for long run time, tuned pipe, 17mm alloy hex drives, roll cage, 2 stage air filter, roto starter with charger for easy convenience, etc. Additions over the standard savage x 4.1 are: • wheelie bar • muffler silencer • twin stainless steel disc brakes • Mounted nubz tires s compound on a black dish wheel (was about $200 dollars with the correct hexes as well). Also glow plug igniter and charger will come with truck amongst other spares ie: glow plugs, filter`s, rotor starter and charger and other miscellaneous items(no AA batteries come with it). All that is needed to get this truck going once again is a crown gear for the diff($15-20) and some fuel. After $400 for the lot! I would prefer a local pick up but I will post at the buyers expense. Pick up can arranged for either Clifton Hill or Reservoir. Thanks, Justin.

  5. Hi All, Kinda sick of having two cars, and I'm a bit over manuals as well, so I'm putting my daily up for sale. Exedy HD clutch Short shifter Genuine manual ECU Has lots of engine mods: Wade 977b cam Ported and polished head New head gasket New timing chain BBM port matched to head JMM extractors 2.5" high flow metal cat 2.5" mandrel bent, single muffler exhaust, with dual dump style tips BA intake piping K&N panel filter BA XR6T snorkel Modified airbox with extra ducting etc Top Gun 8.8mm leads Externally it has gloss black stockies, with chrome trim rings, chrome wheel nuts, and BA ute center caps. Tyres are 99% on the rears, about 80% on the fronts. Has AU clear indicators in modified surrounds. B pillars have been painted matt black. Tinted windows Pedders shortened shocks front and rear Kings lows all round Whiteline rear swabar. Camber kit Handles very nicely and the ride is not bumpy at all. Just nice and firm. EL XR Front seats. AUIII Blue and Black Momo leather wheel. Door inserts trimmed in black (original material underneath, so easy to revert back to stock if that's what you'd prefer) AU Momo leather gear knob Black leather gear boot 6" splits front (amped) 6x9 rears (amped) 12inch kicker sub (amped) 2 amps Gold plated battery terminals (positive AND negative) Pioneer CD/MP3 remote head unit (the head unit in pics does not come with the car, this will be replaced with the Pioneer one) XR6 cluster (volts and oil pressure gauges hooked up) XR6 dash clock Fairmont Ghia leather console lid Also has a decent alarm and immobiliser. Overall, it's a very nice, clean car. Body is very straight, with just a few tiny dings as you'd expect of a car of this age. The paint is also in excellent condition, with a few little scratches here and there, but overall it's in excellent condition for its age. Interior is very clean and well looked after. Mechanically the car is very tight and it drives really well. Only downsides I can think of are the front discs need machining. Other than that, it's a quick car, that looks good, sounds good, and handles really well. I'm after $4800, or $5500 fitted with AJR Directors 17x8's. Pic of the AJR's here: http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r62/pri.../Image010-1.jpg I'm also open to trades or swaps, but it must be auto. I'm located in Cheltenham, but can also take the car to work in Reservoir for viewing. I also have a turbo kit, a GasResearch gas kit, and other parts available for this car. http://www.boostedfalcon.net/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=9105 Please post or PM for any queries. Thanks, Justin.
  6. Hi All, Selling some parts that I’m no longer using for my car. Pickup is available from either Clifton Hill or Reservoir. Postage is available at the buyer’s expense. Thanks, Justin. Gas Research Australia (GRA) S510 throttle body, comes with custom intake pipe, which if used can help you run the intake piping differently (can be mounted without as normal though). This is GRA’s largest throttle body, and was sized with 400rwkw in mind. Twin GRA kitted B2 converters (boost ready) with high flow lock offs, with custom bracket welded up to suit install into a 4l Falcon. All gas parts were removed from a 320+rwkw AU 4l, and have only done 7000kms before they were removed. All in perfect condition, selling as I’ve bought a car with a pump, injectors & ecu setup. $950 Turbosmart Megasonic Blow Off Valve. Brand new, never used. Only been out of box to inspect. In Box : BOV & Adapter PART# FG-BOV-003MS – perfect condition - $250 Autometer Fuel Pressure Gauge (suit EFI). Brand new in box. Naturally, in perfect condition. Pics and model number TBA. $90
  7. Yep, agree 100% Definitely not ideal with that size rear housing but oh well! As for the results, yeah I'm a sceptic too, but I saw the sheets and the rest of the hardware myself, and it all seems pretty genuine.
  8. No worries, thanks for your advice. It has run 325rwkw at 20psi, through an auto with a 3000 stall - so 350 at the treads at the same boost in a manual would be a comparable figure.
  9. Thanks for the advice guys. I shoulda been a bit more careful with the piece of paper containing the info!! I'll borrow a set of verniers and get some measurements. I do recall it being a hybrid, T4 seems to ring a bell, but it's definitely bigger than your average T3/T4 hybrid. 1.16 housing - it's actually off an aftermarket turbo'd 4l Falcon - plenty of exhaust flow there! Only markings I can find on the centre cartridge are a Y on the top, A on the bottom, and 4.5 on one of the sides. Yep, V band flange. Again, thanks for all the advice so far guys, much appreciated!
  10. Hi All, Bought a turbo ages ago, and I can't really remember what it is! Was hoping someone may be able to help in identifying it! It's a Garret turbo. I recall it being a T4 core, something about a Sierra wheel (can't remember front or rear though!). Rear housing says A/R 116, then DH6GA2, then M1. Nothing on the front of the compressor cover, some random digits in the back all the way around in pairs. Here are some pics: Appreciate any advice anyone''s able to offer! Thanks, Justin.
  11. Well, in response to that - price drop to $150. As for seperating, the honest answer is I can't be stuffed touching it! If I don't sell complete for what I'm asking, I'll just keep them aside for a rainy day.
