Thanks for ur reply, when I say slim i mean the depth of the bay. In other words the magnet has to be slim. This is not true?? Cheers

Hello everyone, I am looking to buy some front splits for a friends R33 SerII, I have ringing Audio stores and they tell me that the Skyline has a very slim speaker bay. Is this true. And also, what is the stock speaker size that comes in the front door. I am buying these speakers as a surprise for my mate so i can't ask him directly. Also, I am looking at the $500 range. I have Like the FOCALs very much but have also been recommended MB Quartz and ALPINE. If I do go with the Focals must I go with the 165 V Slim?? or can i go with the regular model, the 165KP (Kevlar Cone). Your opinions are much valued. I hope to hear from ppl who have heard 'em or used 'em and installed speakers into there R33 SerII (or other rides). Thanks Folks
