  1. im not runnin a boost controller just on stock boost i fitted an aftermarket boost gauge and it shows that im not keepin constant boost presure
  2. hi peeps just installed a boost gauge on my '93 R32 Gtst M-Spec and i noticed that when i flat stick it it hits 10psi but then starts dropping (not keeping constant pressure) any ideas why this might be happening? thanks mowie edit: sorry typo error
  3. if its only missing at night then you should be right mate all it is, is the cold night air is more condensed therefore partially upping your boost to certain point were your sparks need a smaller gap or you might be hitting boost cut... if shes working perfect during the day then dont worry bout it too much. if its bothering you try getting a boost cut defender and see if that makes a difference. cheers mowie Edit: just reading over the post again try getting ur A/F Ratio remapped like everyone is sayin if all else fails.

  5. shuttup ash i told u stop feeding your car curry lol ok more detail on his car the idiot ripped the mesh outa his afm then replaced it after realising that you cant have more airflow with out a ecu remap or afc. at the moment it sound like boost kiks in on neutrel but when driving in first gear she wont run properly (jerks) and wont go past 3000 rpm just bounces but then in second gear she goes ok. its a BOAT ('93 R33 S1 GTST M-Spec). thanks for any ideas on behalf of the curry master his self Zas)-( .
  6. try cleaning your AAC Valve. with my r32 i had a prob wer my idle was fluctuating between 1000 rpm and 800 rpm and everytime it droped it felt like it was gonna stall but after i cleaned the AAC valve from all the carbon residue with some carby cleaner idle is steady on 1000rpm wih no prob wat so ever.

  13. if u get it tuned if should solve ur prob by remapin air fuel ratio otherwise just stik the mesh back on

  17. as far as i know my mechanic reckons he can use the rb20 bottom end wid da rb26 top end ( he said there the same ) as far as the injectors soz havnt researched or put much thought into wat i need. as wat im lookin for now thats just waiting till the end result lol just foolin around cars is a very expensive hoby lol especially when ur not too mechanically minded
  18. hi peeps just wanting ur opinions on wats needed if i use a rb26 top end with my rb20 bottom end but instead of twin turbo im goin a gt45. what else would i have to change? im already planning to change: injectors to 555cc, bosch 040 fuel pump, z32 afm, gtr ecu is suplied with top end (might upgrade to Apexi PFC), and greddy twin plate clutch wat else would u recomend??? thanks for ur help

  23. yeh the same thing happened with my 32 what u have to do is spray the lock mechanism wid WD40 by spray it i meen soak the bastard then using the coat hanger in one hand and ur key in the other hand turn the key to unlock the door then push the lach thats attached to the key barell down not up the skylines have a push barrell so only experienced locksmiths can do it i got my mate (whos a locksmith) to come over it took him like 15 min to open it once u get it open then spray the mechanism from the side of the door like a mofo then it should be sweet. this is only a temp fix u'll have to get a new mechanism from nissan or a second hand good one from a wrecker. hope it works for ya edit: to do this the door trim has to be pulled open so u can see the barrel and the mechanism
