    Ive also had an rb30 with a 35/40 1.06 and i do admit that was a bit laggy but I found the rb25 good. power was just a light slip of the clutch away

    .82 would be perfect for an rb26. I had a 35/40 .82 on my rb25 in a vl, manual and it was pretty responsive, perfect for the street i'd say. If you went the .6 rear housing you'd deffinately be lacking the top end.

    uh, yes id did spin a bearing, hence the rebuild... It's the first rebuild its had, other than a set of rings apparently before I baught the car. Why would it matter? It has brand new r33 crank (genuine from nissan) new forged rods new forged pistons etc etc its a brand new engine.

    one rebuild mate, it hasnt just had a set of rings thrown in. If you'd done something like this before you'd know its not cheap. Have all reciepts to prove to the doubters. Standard turbos and injectors mate. The bottom end is done, all she needs is some bigger turbos and injectors and this baby is ready for big HP. The base line is there for a tough realiable engine. The hard work has been done.

    I have for sale a GTR Link ecu... It is fully programable for optimal tuning for your gtr or rb26powered rear wheel drive.. It is used but comes in the box with instructions etc... After around $600. Drop me a pm if your interested and ill give you my number. Cheers Brad

    exactly mate im the same lol. mine went from an rb30 with a gt35 (had it running for 1 week) then pulled it apart to go 26/30 with a gt42 lol. keep me posted on how yours goes
