Had my car over a year now and haven't had the pads changed, even at compliancing. Can anyone tell me what the minimum amount of meat should be on the pads before I need to replace them?

Mine was just a split dump, cat then straight through to cannon. I had to have a resonator added , the drone in the cabin was just far too unbearable. When you hit the right rpm the whole cabin would just vibrate.

Anyone else have trouble getting shannons to even give you a quote? I've rung twice now and gotten different people. First guy said just go to justcars, shannons wouldn't even come close in price. Second guy said they don't insure that type of car unless it's in a locked garage. They must ahve changed their policies or something because last year I got quoted 1.1k for my r34 with them Just cars is really cheap at $940 but damn their excess kills you.

every 5k for my 34, oil comes out pretty black. Use mobil1 5-50 and castrol 10-60. At 8 bucks for an oil filter why wouldn't you change it when you do they oil?

Cost me $175 not sure if thats a flat rate or not.

Hmm visionr in perth, might have to check them out this saturday I'm pretty sure the r34 smell is the plastics fuming though. When mine got here (about 2 months of sitting in a caryard, on docks etc) the entire interior was covered by a thin film of condensation and it smelt just like a new car. Smell comes back on warm days.

Just wondering if anyone knows how the traction control works in an r34. I believe there's a secondary throttle flap that closes but I'm not sure if the timing is affected or if the fuel is cut (other than due to reduced throttle).
