  1. Same deal applies for me... Gotta drag a friend along. Just blaring, loud music ain't enough to keep me company, especially seeing as I don't really know anyone there Haha, we'll just sit at the back of the pack, the grandma drivers of the pack! You turbo boys can shoot off ahead haha. GTS's are still nothing to sneeze at, though... Where are you from anyway, ignuz?
  2. Thanks guys Where's the Up Garage site? I thought they were just a warehouse type store... didn't know they had a site?
  3. Hey guys, Looking for the rear panel, just below the bottom of the boot, and in between the indicators, as shown here... Just after that small panel that says, "SKYLINE" at the back. Should be a clear panel, with raised lettering. Offers?
  4. Put me down, guys... will be good to meet you all!
  5. Anyone taken the dash pocket? -Dash Pocket, fills gap on single head unit- $10 I'll take it, if nobody else has Where you located?
  6. Hey guys, Was just curious - had a friend show me this video: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=45...54465250&q=dyno Was wondering if, as you see the Evo get right up in the rev range, the whole car just squats down. Do Skylines have anything like this?
  7. In the first pic, you're correct - the oval shaped hole has two LED's in it. You've got the same design ECU as I do. Just to the left of that, there's a little semi-circle hole, and there's a little screw thing in there you gotta turn clockwise. Now, you turned the ignition to "On", and not just to "Acc" or actually started the car, right? See how you go...
  8. Got someone else with one here: http://forums.skylinesdownunder.co.nz/show...&threadid=17091 That is sexy... I so want one
  9. Hey guys, Just saw the sig "Craved" uses, which shows this: Where do you get these illuminated skyline panels, or do you just have to get thick EL wire and do it yourself? Responses much appreciated Thanks!
  10. 'tis a pity you weren't in Sydney about a month ago... julion off here bought a N/A'ed R32, '92 model I think, for ~$8k... I took it for a spin (I was going to get it, before I found my R33), was an awesome little machine. Went like a rocket!
  11. That's what I thought It's an awesome car to drive! I love the fact that I don't have to worry about rolling my car when going around corners anymore... so much easier and more fun! Ah, I can see myself having fun with this for a while... And thanks How often are NSW skyline cruises? haha.
  12. I just replaced mine... you'll be looking for 6.5" speakers in the rears, and you'll be looking for 6" in the fronts. I had to make a custom bracket for my rears 'cos I had 6" Polk's for my rears, and they were a little too small to fit in the stock plastic bracket... and I had to cut the front mounting brackets to fit the fronts! Sound SO much better now. The stocks were 8w Clarion speakers, with NO surrounds. They'd eroded completely. Yet to put my sub back in... gotta make myself a custom boot floor before I can do that though.
  13. Hell no, matey I'm having the time of my life with this little beast! The fuel bill will be big enough on this thing haha Thanks man! Appreciate the NA support Already installed a full stereo in it haha Gotta make myself a boot floor over the next few days.
  14. The one I got (the R33) is a lot smoother than your R32, but yours had a bit more get up and go. Mind you, once the air filter is replaced, and I put in a CAI, it might go a little nicer But both were nice. Am kind of kicking myself I didn't get the one you got now, but I think I like this one a bit better. Let me know once you've got your one fixed up, and I'll come take a look But, good buy! How much did Nathan sell it to you for?
  15. The Jaycar alarm systems are actually pretty good, but don't have very many people's attention. I think the only thing I don't like about it is the brand name (Steel Mate)
  16. Ah awesome, I have a mate who used to live in Glenmore Park, moved out last weekend, was on Shearwater drive. Do you go on any of the cruises?
  17. I know there's nothing special about it The one from eBay wasn't in that good condition... also, I woulda spent a couple of grand fixing it up anyway. I woulda spent maybe $2-3k fixing it up, then woulda been shitty I didn't have a R33... Also, it was a dealer sale Hence the high price. I know, I know... I'll see what happens with it though. It's a nice car, that's all I wanted The money I can sort later.
  18. Wayyyyy out west, but I work on the north shore I live in the Mountains
  19. Haha, sounds like a plan Who needs a turbo, anyway? Where are you from?
  20. Heh... undisclosed amount haha. It was a few grand more than I wanted to pay, though... But I think I got a pretty damn good deal. More pictures at: http://members.ii.net/~veeedka/Victor's%20R33/ I don't think it looks too bad Hmmm, process? What do you mean?
