It has been tastefully modified to look neat, without being over-the top and attracting the wrong sort of attention. No expense has been spared on this car. All major work (interior retrim, respray, stereo etc) has been done by professionals. I service the car myself every 5000km using Motul oils. The engine bay looks totally stock (airbox, intercooler piping etc) so it makes plenty of power without issues from the police. Recently had coolant flushed (Genuine red Toyota coolant), fuel filter, oils, filters etc. Transmission service done in Feb 08 and new battery put in at the same time. Dont bother with them mate. I had a policy with FCCI which i wanted to cancel. As per polciy booklet i sent them a signed letter outlining the cancellation. Three weeks pass and i wonder why i havnt heard from them. So i call them up and a message plays informing me Young & Cool has merged with FCCI, ok thats all cool. I explain to the operator about my letter and she says "...oh it probably got lost we moved to NSW from Perth" even though their website at this stage still had their WA postal address and they made no effort to inform policy holders of the change. So she gives me a number of some guy to call to cancel, i send him the letter again. Two weeks pass i call and he sais he never recieved my email . So i sent it again and then a week later i get a confirmation saying my policy cancelled. Great i think, then i read on - oh if you want the outstanding amount of your premium refunded contact this guy (no numbers or address just a bigpond email address). So I am now in the process of chasing this guy down for my refund! Seriously the most un-professional business i have ever had to deal with...

Going by the ID plate it has axle listed as 'A01A' meaning its a single spinner, needs to be 'A01B' for LSD. Although its very easy to swap LSD centres from Supra's into these, so possibly that has been done. Awesome car though, you should try posting it at www.soarercentral.com

"E-Manage is an inexpensive programmable fuel management system that allows you to properly tune your factory fuel system without having to change the entire factory ECU system to an expensive "stand-alone" unit. The e-Manage system is a universal "piggy-back" type unit which taps into most Japanese factory ECU wiring, by utilizing the existing sensors. Basic functions will allow the user to slightly alter factory injector duty-cycle (± 20% at 5 preset RPM points) by intercepting and altering airflow or MAP sensor signals. There is a 16x16 airflow adjustment map, larger main injector correction adjustment, upgrade air flow meter adjustment, boost limiter cut, anti-engine stall, VTEC-fuel adjustment, real-time map trace, real-time display, real-time communication and basic Data-logging. You could make up a restrictor plate for the exhaust, maybe just punch a 2" hole in the restrictor plate and place it somewhere between two joins in the exhaust. It will still look and sound like a tuff exhuast but the restriction will bring down power considerably + its cheap and easy to reverse.

1988 VN Berlina - Auto - Aircon - Towbar - Immobislier (Key-pad code thing, WRX style ) Was just recently registered and RWC but have decided to go back overseas. The exterior is good condition with the usual bumps and dents of a car this age and one large scratch on passenger door (pictured) but otherwise very straight. The inside how ever is immaculate there are no rips, tears, cigerette burns or stains. Work done recently for RWC certificate included new tyres, new windscreen and brake pads.
