You should do it mate!! Seriously for $100 + membership this is by far the cheapest ever chance to run on OP GP!!!! To be honest OP South has the trickiest parts IMO. apart from the kink at the end of the straight, the rest is pretty straight forward! LOL you cant sell the EVO already!!!! Just do some mods to your current one and you will be hooting around very quickly!!!

amen to that mate! now that you have experienced the rush of being on a track, those first time jitters will be gone for good and you can have confidence in your ability! Just remember to drive within your capabilities and dont push or be pushed too hard... thats when things go ugly

oh and for Wakefield i was pretty much running around 26psi which seemed ok...

Ben - Champ i only adjusted the temp once all day lol.... i put 26 psi cold all round first session and came in with 33psi on drivers front & rear and 30 psi passanger front and rear so obvisouly there is a heap more load on the right hand side of car.... but yeah that was it for all day... just left them as that hahahahahaha just couldnt be arse fiddling as we had no air compressor, except clapas little cigarette lighter jobby which had less huff thana 70yr old hooker!!! My moto if it goes, drive it.... meh to finer technical details... thats for this Sunday @ supersprint Today was R&D...

omg so buggered!!!!!!!!!!!!! Firstly well done to Chubbs n Clapa achieving their goals. Chubbs proving that even hairdressers are fast and can steer with 54.9, Clapa steering the tug boat around in an impressive 53.6 and George (Demon) getting his EVO out for the first time punching out a 58.5!!!! Now the failvia... well it seems that this mysterious issue is not so evident anymore... still some vibration under heavy brakes but i think that is just the pad/rotor... anyways it ended up getting around in a 51.7 which was happy about. Goal for sunday with all the stars and moons aligned i will get into the 50's.... A good alignment done and get the tyre pressures right she will be good to roll... A big shout out to JB again for the day, Ben harper and george medeike (spelling lol) showing me how the car should be driven So what else is left to do.?!?!?!?!!? Of course.. BBBEEEEEEEEERRRR!!!!

lol it will neva live down its autosalon beautifulness Not fussed about beauty just how it goes! Yeah i was pretty chuffed with the 43.7 @ MDTC (keeping Ant honest) but i totally agree with it being capable of sub 1:10's... i know it can do it easily as the 1:10 i was doing was just so so terrible... brake shudder, +5mm toe out on rear (stock toe arms are fubar'd) and only able to get 3 laps out of it before it became undrivable... but thats motorsport and i know next time its a 1:09, or if it is a special day.. a 1:08 sumsing.... Let me know who the silvia goes/went today!!!

Bloody awesome time and very noice car!! I was the Blue S13 running in your group but only managed a few laps all day due to suspension / brake issues. Could i pester you for a 'brief' on what you have done to the car? I punched out a 1:10 but has a lot more in it once 'issues' are sorted. i meant to come sticky beak at your car but was too busy trying to fix / diagnose my own problems!! I am always trying to get ideas on setups, more so engine / turbo choices. But if you feel like giving me a full run down i would love it!!! ahahahaha You can post or PM me if you like :) Or if you like to keep it a secret, that is A ok with me! Cheers, Ando

Ian, champ you did absolutley awesome! You had it down pat before i jumped in... just need some 'fine tuning' Wakefield is a great track to 'push the envolope' as such as it rewards you well with times when you give it about 90%! Hitting into the 1:14's is nothing to be sneezed at, well done mate! As i said before we left, get to OP GP!! By far one of the best tracks, fast, technical, flowing, everything you could ask from a track!

stoopid EMO failvia..... something very broken in front left wheel hub area... epic shuddering and crap under brakes so only ended up getting about 10 laps in all day Mustered out a 1:10 which is 3 secs quicker than previous PB, but not my sub 1:10 i was after..... Hopefully once the car can brake normally, get a decent alignment, a sub 1:10 is in order! Bloody awesome day, seeing everyone with grins from ear to ear, makes it all worth while!! Overall it seemed to run very smoothly. everyone seemed to be well behaved and fun was had by all x11ty!! I even had the boys in blue pull me over for a 'chat' on the ride height and DB's.... that just topped off my day to a T... All in all well done to everyone, Chubbeh in the MXfail with 1:16's.. Clapa doing the V8 boys proud with a great 1:12 and the rest of the peeps that were out there having a blast!!! Bring on SAU Track Day - Round 2!! Beer Time KBAI
