  1. Certainly seems that way. Still haven't trial fitted it yet, hopefully it atleast fits well.
  2. That's the one..they sure do get there early. Must be a teacher..
  3. I thought Mercury were decent? Haven't been there myself however..just from what I heard.
  4. May be there..see how we go.
  5. I've seen an R32 parked in the Boronia Heights state school park the past 2 mornings at 5.30am, I think the plates are "GTR 32"? Also saw QWK 32 along Lytton Rd this arvo at about 2pm.
  6. I'm not surprised by what Manwhore is saying, it seems like that's the way it would be. Seems like I'll get someone to try & repair it & hope it works.. I am however still going to email them saying about the botch repair job they did & see what they say.
  7. I would try & return it except I know I'll get the whole "shipping is non-refundable" etc, so I figure it cost $80 for them to send it to me and similar for me to get it back to them so that's $160 I could spend trying to fix it.. I hate the way they can always squirm out of things, I'm still going to send them an email with pictures of the part they tried to repair because they can't fob that off as damage during shipping and see what they say.
  8. To save the bashing of "You shouldn't have bought off Carmate" "Should have bought local" etc - The only front bar I wanted was the "Nismo" front bar & I only ever found Carmate supplying them so I ordered one & had it shipped to Brisbane and here's where the story begins. I just want to know if it's salvageable with the crack in the pictures. (I'm not the one who tried to "repair" the crack either, that's carmate.) Overall the bar is absolutely pathetic quality, one of the worst I've ever seen but I really want this bar so If I can get it fixed up $$ I'll keep it.
  9. I'm in Brisbane would I be able to get a couple of stickers still?
  10. R34 GTT (only pod & catback) - 90% highway driving..around 10L/100kms Out of a tank, well, when I'm just about on the "empty" line when I fill it up I only ever get in at most 45-50 litres and around 400kms at that point?
  11. I think you'll have to lower your price considering you can buy brand spanking new ones for only $30 more?
  12. Saw Choy at Garden City shopping centre..I was just driving past
  13. Nengun should be showing you AUD. They are really cheap, I likes.
  14. It's so_tred & I haven't met any guys called Samantha, have you?
  15. Nah, I know everyone will have different opinions..it's really only a temporary situation until either someone is making the pieces in real CF or until I have the spare money to get them modicoated. The other sh*t that Nissan coated it in was just getting scratched too easy & that looked even worse I think. N15M0 - It took about..10 days since I payed til it arrived.
  16. I put on the pieces yesterday & here is the finished product.. I didn't use all of the pieces because as I said in the first post, some are complete crap - don't fit well etc. The main console pieces fit well so I'm happy about that & also the window switch surrounds look decent too (I botched the passenger one up a bit though, didn't line it up properly) DECIM8 - It is just double sided tape holding the pieces on - it seems to be doing a good job so far.. The link on ebay if anyone wants to have a look is: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NISSAN-SKYLINE-1998...1QQcmdZViewItem
  17. Saw a Black R34 GTR along Mt Lindsay Hway at about 11am..number plates "DATS IT" I was in a commonwhore..
  18. So I decided I'd get one of these kits and just see, I figure $150 isn't *too* bad to waste if it completely sucks. I chose the "Real Carbon Fibre" option and it certainly does seem to be real carbon (that's a plus) Some pieces are good and fit well, namely the main centre console parts & around power window switches. However, some are obviously not so good..*see gauge surround * These are just the pics of it in its packaging as it arrived, will have a go putting the pieces (that are good) on tomorrow and post the pics of them on. Just thought some other people might want to see what these are actually like if they ever considered buying one but couldn't find any info or decent pics.
  19. I can only see one box & a tool pouch. To me that box isn't silver nor does it say kenwood..
  20. I find on my 34 the warning light comes on when I've still got a good 15+ litres left which roughly translates to 120kms..
  21. Coil packs? It's a common problem when you have issues with stuttering around 4000rpm. ..or so I've read on here many times.
  22. Hey! my decals add 200rwkw!
  23. I could never justify paying over $500 for PPlates.. I just think there are so many more things worth the money over them..
  24. I have the same issue (not with the brake pedal though) Put in a grounding kit to a couple of points and so far, no difference (well, maybe a smidge but completely)
