  1. Ok, so I'm thinking ahead about what FMIC I'm going to get. I was originally thinking a Trust (Greddy) V-SPL because I didn't want to go cutting a hole in the battery tray as I'm pretty sure with this kit the piping from the left passes underneath the cooler and up into the bay. Now I'm thinking that might not be such a good option because the piping will hang below my front bar (Nismo) and I just get up my driveway as it is with only a few mm to spare. Or will it not hang below? I just want to know what FMIC people have got, and their opinions of it (pics if possible of piping passing below the cooler before going into the bay would be much appreciated ) If I decide to go the other route and cut a hole, will I have to relocate my battery into the boot?

  9. Yeah I know I'm not going to notice any power differences or anything like that but it has stopped my headlights from dimming and the car does idle a fair bit smoother IMO.
  10. Tis all in Japanese but there aren't any diagrams anyway showing certain car parts/points. Also, it's just one big length of cable which you have to cut yourself for that perfect fit So far I've connected up to 3 existing ground points - left & right chassis & also a grounding point on the engine. With one other going straight to the intake plenum. Still got some cable left which I'd like to use so anyone have other suggestions?

  13. hmm, weird.. Would've thought since the coupes didn't get it why would the sedan?
  14. There isn't anything carbon looking from factory.. But try ebay anyway, there's rolls of that carbon lookalike stuff on there for cheap.
  15. If you're cutting a hole in the engine bay you're going to have to get that engineered, otherwise = defect? (Going by what happened to a friend of mine)

  19. EDIT: I searched a little more and found the info I was looking for Does anyone know what the codes stand for on the compliance/modification plates? My friend has a Silvia that is in supposedly stock form (non turbo CA) with the codes L01, LK3 & LK6 on the plates. I assume it's things like ADR approved seatbelts & side intrusion bars that were fitted. But I'm not 100% sure.
  20. I've still got my control switch thingy in the dash and it works too However, I wouldn't rely on that to bring your headlights up enough anyway..I still had to manually adjust them and the switch just gives a little more control on top.
