  1. I saw these and thought someone might be interested in them, it is super rare to find them in this condition, they look brand new... http://page5.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/e79658479
  2. Rather than a brandname or logo you should go for a custom graphic, unless of course you do have a mines or Nismo tuned vehicle... Send me a picture of your car and maybe a style you would like and I can do something up for you.
  3. just don't hit anything...
  4. Its not a daily driver, and I don't know about you guys but driving my skyline in the wet doesn't really turn me on... But I guess I'll just have to see how it goes if I get caught in the rain... Although I'm keen to see or hear about howw the ARC airbox works since they have a top mounted foam filter with no cover or snorkel so how does it get its cold air and if it is through a bonnet intake then what does it do in the rain?
  5. I have a bonnet with a vent above the airbox... I am currently using a pod filter with no box. I want to use the airbox with a blitz style lid like in the photos below... I have two small issues; 1. What can I use on the lid I have made to mate with the latches on the std airbox, admittedly I have made the lid a nice snug fit so it may not even need them but it would be alot better. I do have some hooks I could use but I don't have a drill to go that will go through them (even a drill for hardened steel) and don't have a propane torch or at least I can't find my torch fitting for the gas bottle. 2. I am going to use fire retardant foam to complete a tunnel from underneath the bonnet vent to the top of the airbox lid, so it will be completely sealed from engine bay air , any ideas on how I can get a profile of the foam to fill this gap, as the bonnet is shut I cannot see the gap between lid and bonnet? And do I really need to use fire retardant foam or do you think I can get away with std foam? I was considering as well making the hole about 15mm wider all round, do you think it is really needed, I would of thought the opening is more than enough considering the std snorkel is smaller? comments or suggestions?
  6. whiteline camber kits for 33ecr in the group buy section... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...ils-t85467.html
  7. yep, maybe preference for decent handling over scraping your ass on the ground doesn't pull the chicks...
  8. others have experienced power loss, so maybe its the combination of street illegal NOS that is the changed varible..
  9. but of course all that noise and no power gain... is it worth it...., no.. People here are giving advice on if a 3" is performance wise an upgrade, and the answer is no, many threads about it too... but here if you just want a loud car ram a screwdriver through your muffler...
  10. yahoo auctions.... they are on there alot...
  11. If you use super lows on stock damper then your asking for more money to be spent in the near future to replace the shock and you will be sacrificing handling. and also you will need offset camber bushes to correct the front and rear camber if you go that low... why do it? for looks? Do it properly use quality dampers with matched springs. Yep it will cost more, but thats what it costs to do it right and have decent handling, skylines are tail happy as it is without ruining the suspension any more...
  12. I take it you have rims that don't fit but you really want to have them? Hence the rears fit kinda but the fronts won't at all.. it will look weird having the flares only on the front, maybe if this is the case though the offsets on the rims is going to weird anyways? usually rim offset to guard or flare measurement is the crutial bit in making rims & lowering look great... get better offset rims....
  13. pair maybe? where are they?
  14. geez did the camery really need a navigator? must of been a targa of sorts...
  15. What condition are they in? How much tread on the tyres? I'll give you $50 for them, unless you have another amount you had in mind?
  16. check out yahoo auctions for honest pricing
  17. take the coil packs out dry them and replace, but it sounds like you might of crack a ceramic possibly.... replace plugs after inspection maybe... what coil packs are you running?
  18. as long as the coil pack cover is sealed there is no problem... I too have a vented bonnet and had the same problem at first since I didn't run a coil pack cover at all... sealed it and all is good...
  19. what new filter, the water is nowhere near your air intake? An I missing something? its sitting around your spark plugs and making them arc... The ztune style bonnet has vents directly above the coil pack cover, thus why making sure your coil pack cover seals are installed correctly will resolve the issue for the future...
  20. Yep its the vented bonnet "I got rained on and my coil pack cover isn't water tight" sound... The hard part is getting the water out, I used a long piece of clear hose and gravity to drain the water... Afterwards make sure the rubber seal on the coil pack cover is on straight and sealing properly, I leave the back of the coil pack cover loose to let heat out so my splitfires don't get overheated. The water will evaporate but its not advisable to do it that way...
  21. Is there any reason you are considering bride seat if you've never seen one or sat in one, as they are one of the most expensive? is it just for the brand name? I got a sparco racing bucket and I think that is great... Never sat in a gtr seat but the gtr seat is still a reclinable and I feel would never match a full bucket... I've done a few hours in it in one stint and while its a little warm on a hot day, I forgive it for that since it holds me in snug. Oh and thats a sparco pro 2000
  22. try putting this in the japan thread I've seen them translate stuff in there if you ask nicely....
  23. Studs with wheel nuts together, where did you get yours, I got longer studs at like $6 each no nut.. ordered from repco, high tensile studs... I did need to cut them down a little though, but with wheel nut, what brand?
  24. paint stripper will soften it, then you can scrap it, comes off fairly ok then or you can wire wheel it but on a fibreglass piece you don't want to be doin that...
  25. And in NSW you need to have a manual release somehwere, I don't know what the law is about were the release has to go as does it need to be visible, as then you could have it under the sill or something possible I have shave door handles on my olf ford coupe and have a rod sticking up on the door window ledge if that makes sense... just push down on it and door pops open... the hot rodding guys know lots about shaved handles and door poppers... check out there forums..
