  1. but wait didn't you want a carbon fibre one? Molding a vent in would be great except if your not doing it yourself it will get expensive...
  2. Aerocatches on black fibreglass bonnet, yes I have since change the silver bolts on the bonnet catches to black... Those bonnet locks are great...
  3. is it worth the risk though?, fibreglass instead of metal holding your bonnet down at over 100Kph, um...
  4. I'm after the passenger side door trim, what condition is it in and what times during the week would I be able to pick up?
  5. Is this "not wanting to research" thing a disease of the young these days, as I find alot of younger people don't want to search for answer they just want someone to tell them... they learn nothing and then take it for granted that what they are being told first is totally correct then pass that misinformation onto the next unknowing soul... I'm a huge poster to these forums since I have found alot of information on skylines in here...
  6. I did say most...

    98 Ron

not anymore, closed the pumps monday 24th... apparantly they do still have some but they were told to turn them off until further notice...
  8. Then what is it that attracts you to keeping a GTST? for me I just like RWD cars... What attracts others to them over a GTR?
  9. Do you guys really think there are less parts out there for a gtr than a GTST? Just look at the price of Power FCs, gtr ones are cheaper, there are heaps more second hand racing bits out there for GTRs, in fact I find it hard to find racing bits for a GTST, as far as most racing circles are concerned the GTST is not really a race possible car... I think you have to ask yourself do I like burning rubber and going sideways, I would love a GTR as well but it will be a 34 when I do and I think I will still want a RWD car as well... Sure the GTR can be drifted if you know how but not like a RWD... The M3 is a RWD and it aint no slow coach. But hell you've got a fresh 220rwkw, drive that for a while longer wait for 34s to come down a little then get that then your getting a different car completely, different interior, shape, tail lights and all on the 34... But this is only an opinion
  10. well the cam covers are alloy at least...
  11. um well the engine is alloy.... so corrosion will be annoying and also your coil packs are on top of the engine in a well like area so you want to make sure you have your coil pack cover on and its water tight...
  12. Just keep in mind that you are opening up a hole in your bonnet therefore rain can get in... Carbon fibre bonnets are illegal according to other threads on here, but fibreglass if it is an approved one isn't, don't take my word for it but thats what I've read....Cost me $350 to get my fibreglass bonnet painted, but I did pick up the bonnet very cheap brand new. Don't forget bonnet locks they are recommended for all CF and FG bonnets, aerocatch all way for the locks... If its just going to be a fibreglass with a layer of CF over the top then whats the point go fibreglass or get a full carbon fibre and expect to pay easily over $1200...
  13. ECU won't need a reset, be sure to always use 98ron (premium) or higher
  14. I always have a length of heavy guage pipe for special occasions like this...
  15. I love my aerocatch locks... piece of mind and they look nice unlike the standard stainless steel ones...
  16. Is it a full carbon fibre one or is it fibreglass with a carbon fibre skin, reason being I probably wouldn't trust a fibreglass one but maybe have alittle more faith in a full CF...
  17. What has the wishbone design have to do with the sway bars....?
  18. oh dude, I could of them goin for days on that one...
  19. ah you want to know the secret to getting more Ks from a tank eh?.... I dunno guys should we tell him...
  20. the sounds that come our of it ie the persons music tastes.... - being dirty - having a cracked front bar or an unpainted kit - old stickers that are faded or cracked - brake dust buildup - 215 or less tyres - being keyed - a completely stock car - stock rims - cheap nasty guages - actually cheap nasty anything & P plates....
  21. An ugly Skyline
  22. you know there is such a thing as being built for purpose (decent track handling) and still looking a bit show, just depends how you do it....
  23. actually the tinted ones above are just the stock ones with the red lense removed... I've done that as well, you just need to get some rubber to fill the gap left by removing the red lense.... and still need red globes of course...
  24. they are a decent rim, at least they arn't 20"chromies or you'd have everyone telling you off around here... I like em... they probably arn't the lightest you can find and they may not give all girls wet panties but they're cool by me.... How wide are they, 245 on the rear of skyline ain't that big... I have 235 on the front 255 on the rear others have up to 275 but tyre width aint everything and you can go too wide, there is also a slight cost factor in tyres as well...
  25. depends on if you like em or if they are suitalbe for you as in weight or size?
