  1. Thats interesting that you say it damaged your clear coat cause it's just orange juice, that would mean you don't need brake fluid to stuff peoples paint jobs just some juice... I've never heard of it damageing anything, in fact we use it to get adhesive off clients cars all the time...
  2. I did see some pics of a car on this forum that had it done, it looked crap its just stick on plastic crap.... your better off painting...

  4. a citric based adhesive remover available from Bunnings. It smells like oranges and may even have orange something in the name can't remember but it is the best, completey non-toxic and won't damage anything... it so good it will remove windscreen sealants from stuff as well, no problem...

  9. Over near the racecourse there is a small industrial area, there is a wheel repairer there and in the next street there is a powdercoat place, he does quite large stuff usually but will do wheels for you and blast them as well I think, don't quote me on the sandblasting though, can't think of the names I usually just visit them, I got the contact of the wheel repairer from Tyres n more at West Gosford... central coast, wheel repair, in gibbens rd, found that in google by searching "wheel repair" central coast.... another google... Priority Powder Coating - maps.google.com.au 13 Reliance Dr, Tuggerah, NSW - (02) 4355 1666 Another search this time from CCMC... this is the same place I mentioned above... I've spoken to the guy and got a quote of about $50 perwheel from memory I've seen a sign on Greive Cl in West Gosford that says "Powdercoating" with an arrow that seems to go nowhere? I've also seen once or twice they've actually had a big sign out saying "Powder Coating" with a phone number too. I've never gotten the number though sad.gif. I think it's some kind of fencing place? All color bond/metal fencing etc. is powder coated, so I'm assuming this fencing company offers powder coating too?
  10. nope, I'm in NSW...
  11. if you have gutter rash before you get this done you will have gutter rash marks in the powdercoat afterwards as well... but not as noticeable. You can get a wheel repairer put the rims on a lathe to get the marks machined out depending on rim metal type. come up looking new after that.

  20. 3.5" turbo back HKS super dragger II, 4" tip... sounds nice, decent quality... Hey how do you hook up two 3" square pipes to the back of a turbo... isn't that like... nah I won't say it... yeah I will 'overkill & bizarre' & where would you fit two 3" square pipes under the car..? that is with out them hanging low? are they side by side or n top of each other, that just sounds weird? pics, pics, pics?
  21. I used stainless steel black mesh sourced from a security screen place. You will need something decent to cut it. I used a cutting disc on an angle grinder to cut out the four corners so I had flaps to fold. I then measured it up to get 90 degree folds in all four sides (i use the bending machine at work, no way will you bend that stuff by hand will definitely need a bench mounted vice at least but proper press is best) so that it fit snuggly around the back of the opening of the inside of the bumper, it fit so snug it only needed a cable tie top and bottom, nothing gonna get though it its on there dam tight with no flex what so ever. In fact it fit so snug it needed the half box like structure I ended up with after the folds stretched out a little to fit perfectly, and it slid on with a little force. Ended up with 15mm gap between core and mesh, used the exsiting holes (on series 2 front bar) top and bottom for ties... I was rather impressed... mesh cost like $30 you will barley dent that stuff with a hammer full force... and its black... That supercheap mesh is complete crap...
  22. I would of thought there would be a date of manufacture sticker on the side including the safety classifications and inspection approvals... My seat has this type of sticker although that is a sparco so maybe bride is different. I have see bride copies out there, it is not hard to embroid a logo on some material... though that was on recliners... full buckets are awesome...
  23. I have had red leds in my clusters bought from dan666 for at least 8months now with no problems....
  24. Add graphics, not something over the top, just something nice subtle and classy, custom designed would be my preference so it looks unique and not an off the ebay shelf look...
