what a full bucket? Can they actually be widened, don't they come in different sizes?

I just got a carmate bonnet from a guy on here, he hadn't painted it yet, but needed to sell... It looks quite good actually, its not an amazing finish and I will replace the mesh with something decent if at all, but over it is of decent quality, I assume it fits well the guy that sold it to me said he did have it on his car for a week and noted there was a small gap at the front in the centre, this was on the series 2 vented bonnet AB style 2 or something... I don't know if I would pay full price for one as once you get it sprayed it will turn out a $700-800 bonnet and you can get a CF for $1000 so.... its at the painters now getting sprayed and fitted with flush fitting bonnet locks, can't wait...

looks different at least... Is it printed adhesive backed vinyl do you know? and its unique...

I don't have a decent camera but this is how the cam covers came out... it is really mirror like, they wern't too hard to do... just takes alot of time.. On the other hand the intake pipe and plenum take a lot more sanding to get it smooth but ends up the same, you do have to be careful to keep it smooth and not a wavy finish. When it is polished you will see distorted reflection. it would be easier to use a bench grinder with buff wheel attached.. I think I will just sand it smooth and paint all the polished bits a colour, maybe silver, as keeping the polished alloy nice and shiny takes time. My car is not a daily driver and it still needs a polish at least once a month to keep it looking great... this really is a crap photo

I tried using the cloth and screwdriver but found it needed alot of pressure and I actually heard a crack, no visible damage but I don't like damaging things, So I dropped the front of the skit off and undid 2 screws off the inner lining and reached up behind and ended up using a small clamp to squeeze the clip it was that hard, came out by itself and done... and you also get to clean out the base of your A pillar at the same time doing it this way...

make em yourself, I did mine it cost me like $18 for material and stuff... and I did the shift boot in 2 hours.

You could use a dremel it might make it easier in places. I just used 400 grit wet and dry then 800, then used a combination of polishing wheels finally finished off with autosol... came up ok... I'm not looking for ward to doing the plenum though... I did the cam covers the same way, came up mirror, but I'm now thinking I will paint them as having to maintain the shine of polished alloy is very time intensive...

So I'm assuming the SR3 is a full bucket seat, and your missing the bracket between the rails and the seat which is I believe what they call a side plate. I have just recently installed a sparco pro2000 using a bride seat rail similar to yours but my seats already had a custom side plate made in alloy. I don't know where to find sparco ones but here is a link to Aust. seller of bride accessories http://www.accessauto.com.au/productspg_br...accessories.htm it has the side plate your after and you could probably use that and just drill new holes if they are out of place compared to the sparco but there may be some standardisation of these mounts, I don't know... or you could also get one fabbed up by Meridian Motorsport...

not exactly chroming, but it is reflective and has a high heat resistance, in fact it is for reflecting heat from cool components... I was looking at using it in the engine bay but it is a bit too gold and shiny for me, its the shit though.. http://www.mmsport.com.au/productview.php?...d=Heat_Products

Concentraated citric acid, smells like oranges will take any stick stuff off no worries and its natural... it will even take window sealant & set silicon, which I was surprise at, it did it so well and perfectly... and cheaply $6 for a small spray bottle at hardware store... and it smells good...
-
I happen to come across a mobile salesman... you can buy through their website.... send them an enquiry
-
try citric concentrate, they sell it at hardware stores its for removing sticky stuff. I have used it to remove set silicon, windscreen sealant and sticker residue.. and it smells good... and leave sno residue of its own... makes things looks nice... very small spray bottle about $6

I have been looking for a spray polish for a while now but have finally found the one that does it best... check their website: http://www.fw1.com.au/ the best part I found about this stuff besides not needing a perfectly clean car and the fact that it removes crap as well as shines and leaves a nice anti-static surface that will repel dust, is that it doesn't really dry white like other polishes and is great for cars with graphics on them. It first came about because of sponsored racecars wanting to look nice and shiny for sponsor presentation in between races but not wet their tyres. So for me it means I can polish my car & not have to tape up my graphics edges or door handles tail lights etc... to avoid them filling up with polish and leaving a white line around them

it could be the rails when you put them put in were not aligned properly and the seat on one side is not latched in possibly... I know when I removed and replaced the passnger seat in my 33 I had to do it again just it rattled, it turned out to the rail alignment... if you sit in it and put some pressure on it to force it to slide back without using the lever I could hear the ratchet click into place and the seat wouldn't rattle until again someone need to get in the back or adjust the seat....

Whilst I don't know the exact answer, I can tell you that just because the globe is blue does not mean it will give off a cool white light... I tried matching my parker bulb which was a nice cool white glow of love and hapiness and found what I and the parts dude & I thought were the same and d'oh it has the boring old amber light...

How Much To Fill In Holes Where Spoiler Use To Be?
75coupe replied to Musky's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
you would be after a sign shop, they should have a colour book for you to check out... Unfortunately I don't know any burgandy 32s otherwise I would match it for you. I'll let you know if I find one... -
How Much To Fill In Holes Where Spoiler Use To Be?
75coupe replied to Musky's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I don't know if you could actually colour match it, you may be lucky to find the vinyl comes in that colour, if its not metallic. The colour range in vinyls is quite large... And if you print it onto vinyl it will look flat look tacky... -
