  1. Brake fade is more likely a fluid issue, good fluid, pads and rotors, braided lines and your done, cut off the stone guards for better airflow. I ise qfm a1rm pads, rda slotted and rbf660 fluid, no fade at track, tyres or engine temps give out before the brakes now, now i need more engine cooling, already have oil cooler, vented bonnet, looking at more water cooling
  2. Im wondering if plasti dip spray in white would work at all, it is a latex paint... Not that i want to do it myself
  3. Im still using std gtst calipers, with upgraded rotors, pads, fluid and braided lines, cut off the stone guards and javnt had any probs at track, no brake fade yet, but use good fluid and decent gear... Rbf660 fluid is good
  4. I used one from a maxima
  5. Its been done heaps though, and on its last legs really, do you really want to do it... ?
  6. Nice, i just ordered the same clutch, heard nothing but good reviews....
  7. Why put gauges on bonnet???
  8. Times the weight of one piston by 6 and add 25 for 98, 30 for e85 and divide by 3 for the first number of the turbo size... But thats all obvious yeah?
  9. But my turbo likes the cold... So do i
  10. There looks like alot of ebay on there... Maybe check the fpr is genuine, of not, ditch it and get a better one. Why would you buy a dar if you dont know whats been done to it?
  11. Well it didnt move as i made key marks to re-align it.
  12. Injector caps were removed and paint, vct extending out past rb26 belt cover was painted whilst on car, no belts removed everything masked.
  13. The most annoying part is, it was running fine before painting some parts... What have i done...?
  14. Oh sorry the vct unplugged
  15. Ok update Ive confirmed injectors are all working I have continuity tested coil pack harness and injector harness. Does seem to idle slightly better with cas unplugged but still rough New spark plugs Compression test came up with all cylinders fairly the same
  16. Go vinyl, cheaper, neater and you can change it later easily if you want...
  17. I got one from yahoo japan that is just crystal plastic no lights and then wrapped it in vinyl with my conpany name in it, or you could wrap it just plain black or have a design in it...
  18. Well ive heard stories and seen the chassis rails be dented in from using jacks stands on them, but if you want to follow other things go for it
  19. Dont put jack stands on sills or chassis rails. Use cross member, diff, sub frame...
  20. No different, when i had graphics on my car which i designed and installed i aas always asked "who painted those on, people had to find the edges to get the surprise, checkout smog on facebook, they have done heaps of luxury cars, and the results are perfect
  21. Wrapping is temporary, respray is permanent... Wrapping would be about a bit less than half that amount, but its a temp but also a protection layer and you have a huge choice of colours, metallics, chromes, matts and satins. Respray os a typical respray and if its good and cared for could last a lifetime... Not going to make the decision for you though. If your in sydney give smog carwraps a contact
  22. There is a whole build thread on here also that has done it, r33racer is the op from memory...
