  7. I dont look at the pfc screen now than i have all defi gauges with programmable warning lights and sounds, would love to change ecu in the future

So my 2011 d40 navara tows great, good economy and all, but new house has a steep thin driveway i wanted the trailer loaded at the top, heat warped the dual mass flywheel doing it, lesson is dont reverse 2t up a hill slowly, you have to ride the clutch a little to control the speed and it heats up the flywheel... So its new clutch and single mass flywheel time already... Tip from clutch guy i spoke too, reverse in 4lo even on concrete and all will be find and easier to control speed rather than having to ride clutch a tad... $2k for new clutch flywheel fitted, bugger

  15. I think the lp wants to be able see the difference between stock and his stripped out track car, not what your car weighs after doing bolton mods and stuff... I can help as im not really stock weight wise either, bonnet, seats, mirrors etc...
  16. Something as simple as updating your car made so hard and complex just because you want the rebuilt engine over the proven, better flowing head, factory engine. If you want a manual car, buy a manual car, if you cant afford it or a scrimping to save minimal i can assure you it will end up costing you more than just forking out straight up.

Cut and reweld the brackets holding the current 3" system so it sits higher, and exhaust shop could do this or if you have a welder you could do it yourself, alot cheaper and makes more sense than having to stuff around with flanges to attempt fitting a 3.5" cat back... 3" is plenty for the flow youll get out of a highflow turbo too

  20. Ive tried the diesel oil thing, did come out rather black considering it was only in there for about 20mins or idling and free revving... Unsure if it did anything useful though

  22. its not stock turbo then! I agree as above as it seems u dont really know what is needed or how to go about it... Lots of reading will help you, others have done these things and their trial and error will help you understand what works and why it worked for their goal... Having a power level goal i dont believe is the best way to start if you havnt driven a car with power before, and i dont mean a half hour drive up the road in someone elses car.
  23. 233 with stock turbo, ive never heard of this? To4z and 3076 are very different output turbos. 400kw from std rb25 is def pushing it. Have you ever driven 300kw on the street? Cause it is a pretty big figure really for street. What makes you want 400kw? What are you doing that makes you want that figure??
  24. Probably because the std place for plates obstructs airflow to fmic, i mounted my front number plate at the bottom of the plate to raise it into an unused area and looks decent... May need to make a custom bracket to fit it where and how you want
  25. I do have a tick which i assumed was lifters but notice on decel the tick went away, it is the injectors on mine...
